After someone just totaled my car in an accident, and I had the scariest passing shooting through my head for over a week, I'm considering not getting a car until I find a new job, in case I find one overseas, or at least at a great distance away. There's not much for public transportation around here, so that's a really scary thing for me right now. However I really want to move somewhere very new and different to experience more of this beautiful world we live in. Not sure how long I'll keep up with this track. Well see.

Sorry for so many comments but “you are not your past self” just hit me like lightning. I heard someone say, “Discipline is a pinch but regret is a crushing blow.” Though I’ve been a fairly disciplined person I have so many regrets that haunt me often leading to depression. When my focus is on the failures of the past it really can destroy my present and subsequently my future. Discipline of mind requires a focus on the future self, not the past self, and allowing that to determine the present.

I’ve read all three books even one or two twice. I gave The Gap and The Gain to my kids for Christmas. Absolutely life improving. By the way, and speaking of shirts, what brand shirt are you wearing?

I agree that being able to stream music and have millions of songs at your fingertips is a 10x or possibly a 100x leap. But on an artistic level there was something wonderful about albums and the collective experience of that product. Having a CD or vinyl of songs opened you up to the full artist expression of the artist. If not for that I would have missed some of my favorite songs that weren’t hits.

I just want to thank you this is was incredible content. I am real estate professional with over 20 years experience selling the highest net worth real estate in London and south of France and am planning on launching online sales courses and I can say I found this info extremely insightful and I have watched hundreds of hours of content and this is by far in the top 1%. ❤
