I respect your opinion and I think otherwise. Conservatives in your country might be racist or might not idk yet this is not for true every countries. Conservatives are not racist in core and same thing applies to traditionalists. Right libertarians are a different perspective. Basically liberalism with nationalist perspective. And liberalism values human rights and humanism, fascism doesn't which is one of the biggest difference between. In fascism quite basically ruler is important guy, in humanism; every human deserves basic respect. So they are quite different at this point. Also, conservatives, tradionalists and right libertarians are mostly democratic. Fascism is not a democratic ideology. Long story short; you might not like these ideologies yet they are not fascism or something. They are different perspectives you might not like.

​@@conceptualization9212This is pretty on point, but I will say that conservatism is in the same sort of proximity to racism that progressivism is to something like aethism. Not truly interchangeable but with enough overlap that like... I mean, they are functionally pushing in the same direction. Or if not they're at times running parallel, sharing goals but not rationales. Sort of like how you can have an internally coherent idea of catholic socialism or something, you could have an ethnically diverse fascist movement.

I only ever finished a physical harry playthrough, personally i'm split between half-light and electrochemistry. half-light says the most insane shit, and i'm into that. but electrochemistry is such an unrepentant junkie, eagle-eyes spotting a pack of ciggies abandoned under a truck in the street, sourcing some amphetamines through emotional echolocation, pathologically fixated on the same liqour that symbolically (and perhaps literally) has already killed you once. I played my harry straight and sober. Having to fight electrochemistry every step of the way, but my god was it a fun fight.

@@oscarlove4394 I really need to try that. I think I was biased against physical, because I thought it would dumb Harry down so much, that much of the fun would be lost. But the game is too good for that. It probably gives you some fun and interesting insight into that type of personality.

Did you actually play the communist political vision quest? The thing that the communist path has you do is build a tower of matches, and it immediately blows over after a moment where everything is okay for 90% of players. You have to get most of the communist dialogue options for it to stand. It's a critique about how fragile communism can be, with the "communist project" Harry does literally being a tower of matches, something that can be lit up instantaneously by fire, a common symbol of fascism in media. Disco Elysium is a story about Harry's redemption, and it's actively trying to say that stapling yourself to any political ideology, no matter how right or good it is, while you yourself are broken, corrupts the ideology and yourself. You can ruin the communist vision quest by proudly proclaiming that, "women are the bourgeoisie," cementing that Harry is using communism to wrestle with the fact his wife left him. Being communist actively makes Harry a worse cop, it makes him reactionary and it's harder to get information out of people and do cop things like Visual Calculus. The game drives this point home by giving you the ability to have completely antithetical world views at the same time, like fascism and feminism, and dunks on you for having such a nonsensical frame to view the world in. Read the text again. It's a game that deserves to be interpreted correctly.

I couldn't stand any of the ideologies, it felt the least engaging part of the story for me. The game allows you to be a dyed in wool fascist but you are required to help the commies plotting another revolution by fighting the PMCs. Moralism is supposed to be an overturn window of moderate ideologies, but like most of the advocates were center-left EU types, rather than a mix of center-right to center left in most democracies. The anti NATO undertones are *very* dated considering recent events. Only Vatnik's would unironically go with the "NATO imperialism" BS now
