Both are good enough for monitoring, but not accurate enough for mixing, so I would suggest picking one sounds nicer to your ears, don't worry about accuracy. I prefer MSR7, wider, sweeter, especially at low volumes. For mixdown, I suggest M70x and DT770 Pro 250 (even better than M70x).

The M50x is hot garbage, this is actually a properly tuned headphone ;) as well as the M40x, but stay the F away from m50x's unless you only use them for analytical listening, otherwise, they're trash sound quality wise

i use both samsung and iphone, and damn that front facing camera is so damn fake! My face looks so smooth and now blemishes could be found everytime i take selfie with samsung. And in lowlight, my face looks like it's been rubbed by sandpapers. idk why they keep doing that, other Chinese phone's camera has the same issue too

Hope Audio Technica will make a bluetooth version for the ath m60x and the ath msr7. Have the ath m50xbt and loving it very much. Much sturdier than the sony xm4, which feels really flimsy.

They have good bass and build quality, I think the treble could be more smooth and the mids could be fuller to my preference. I'm keeping them as my DJing headphones because they block outside sound well and are light & easy to slide on and off the ear.

How does this monitor stand up now in October 2020? Is there a better BenQ equivalent available now? Are there better equivalents in other brands for this price point? Mainly looking for a monitor with rec 709 , used mostly for animation and video editing, MUST have thin bezels and USB-C connectivity. Brand doesn't matter. Is there anything else in this price range and specs available out there today?

ive been rocking these for like 5 months now and i have literally 0 complaints, the comfort was a bit wacky at first but after like a week of using them i dont even feel they are on, really solid headphones ;)

In 2020 every brand is focused on wireless earphones or headphones and they don't stand a chance against premium hi fidelity headphones which cost way less their premium wireless counterparts
