Da ist ein Casey auf der Bucht wohl mit einem echten Körper und der ist furchtbar, ganz grüne bis schwarze Beine. Vielleicht sah der Körper ja auch so aus und dann ist der den sie jetzt hat besser, aber ich verstehe das es ärgerlich ist. Überhaupt finde ich es schade, dass diese Puppen nicht mal 100 Jahre halten. Forscher haben sich schon dami beschäftigt, aber was besseres als sie kühl, dunkel und unter Luftabschluss zu lagern ist denen leider auch nicht eingefallen. Das hilft weder Sammlern noch Museen, die ihre Puppen ja zeigen wollen. Da könnte Mattel sich mal engagieren und schauen wie man die alten Stücke konservieren kann. Ist ja auch deren Geschichte. Aber ich vermute die heutigen Puppen werden nicht mal so lange überleben.

Can you please tell me how you research the dolls you’re interested in? Is it a particular website you use or a book? The only Barbies I know how to identify are the dolls from the late 70s until about 1981 or 1982. Then to me they all look alike after 1982. I see so many Barbies in my local thrift stores but I pass on most of them because I don’t know who they are. 🤷‍♀️ P.S. I was also wondering how you identify the Barbie clothes? 😊
