I have great admiration for Tho.pa.Mee Aiya. Will there be another Kamban or Vallunan? We desire there is another Kamban and Valluvan.Why? Because it will enrich the world more.Time has always produced great people from one generation to another. Let us first see JS Bach. 1665 to 1750. One can say that the present Western music stands on the shoulders of JS Bach. Then comes Mozart to almost equal JS Bach in his achievements.Then we had Lv Beethovan another great composer.Thus we see great people from one era to another. Let us take Kamban. Kamban did not live in an impoverished landscape of literary geniuses.Before him lived Azhavar,Nayanmar,Elango Adigal,ThiruThaka Devar ,Seekizhar. Kamban followed their foot steps and produced his Epic. Write like Kamban? Here is one poetry diary I made for Kamban. Kamban wrote 12000 songs in his opus. In one day let us suppose He has to write 100 songs. That comes to 12000/100=120 days or 4 months. If we take 50 songs per day then it will take 8 months If we take 25 songs per day then it will be 16 months. I would imagine Kamban would have written around 50 to 100 songs in a day because of his prolific nature. So Kamban would have composed the KambaRamayanam in about an year. 50 songs in a day comes to about 6 to 7 songs per hour 100 songs in a day comes to 12 to 14 songs per hour . Since Kamban was prolific he could have written about 100 songs per day. Ie in 8 hours of daylight. This is equal to 4000 lines per day. Almost Kamban was writing a mini Shakespeare play every day. So folks this is how to write like Kamban. Start your journey. Write like Kamban. We want more Valluvan and Kamban and Elango.

I admire Speaker Elangai Jayaraj. There is a criticism on the interpretation of the Purananooru song with the word "வரிசை" Jayaraj sir is using the word வரிசை to denote Order,be in line Eg வரிசை வரிசையாக நில். Meaning stand according to the order. I differ because that is not what denoted during the time of the Sangam lit. வரிசை here means அன்பளிப்பு/கொடை. There is a word சீர்வரிசை Which lends evidence to my argument. Here சீர்வரிசை means சீரும் வரிசையும் என்று பொருள் During the Sangam times the poets depended on the donations of their patrons. This is denoted in phrase "வரிசைக்கு வருந்தும் இப்பரிசில் வாழ்க்கை" In English it would mean A life depending on Donations.
