Can’t say it was my kind of food at all, never have likes plane food though!

Macy’s holiday parade! Have seen Mardi Gras in previous years though it’s usually early on in the year feb/march time off my head. Mardi Gras is the better one in my opinion! More fun. Slightly sarcastic smile on my face watching the Macy’s one, and if you don’t make it over the road before it’s starts you have to stand and wait while it’s finished 🤣

Me too! Easily our favourite parade, always preferred it to even the daytime parades over the years. Gutted it will never be returning, I don’t see Magic Kingdom ever getting another night parade tbh it’s just too busy now

They did! We saw it on the 90s too and I remember the old faces. We always hoped they would bring it back but obvs that will never happen, much preferred it to the MainStreet Electrical Parade -Danielle

We actually have a video from very early 90s of Spectro and the old faces! Maybe something like that will be coming in the future, who knows!

Aw thanks so much! I will be getting travel day up as soon as I can and obviously more to follow :) I hope you get to go again some time in the future! We travelled with a different airline this time, and flew in economy (normal we obviously do premium). It saved money in that we didn't have to travel down to London, even though flights are cheaper from there and on the flight itself and it was also easier for my sister and her boyfriend on this occasion as their family has expanded by 2 (they now have a 2 and 3 year old). The prices for Disney park tickets were a significant increase on this holiday, and the price of a villa was almost double what we used to pay, but understandably the costs for everything over there have also increased so we expected the villa to be more. We didnt find the supermarkets much different, although they are expensive it wasn't much different to 2019, and the same fore the majority of other things like park food and eating out were all very much the same as 2019. Car hire was a bit more expensive this time too. We did LOTS of shopping around trying save money where we could and its a shame prices have increased so much... we are very lucky that my parents actually pay for the majority of it or we wouldn't of been able to go back either. @@DisneyDink Hello Danielle, Thank you for your detailed reply. The last time we were in Florida was in 2019 and we certainly won't be able to vacation there again before 2026. Until then, we have financial obligations that will not allow us to go on holiday there, especially not with the new prices. We went there almost every year from 1988 to 2019. That's why we miss it a lot now and always look forward to your films. It's great if your parents contribute to the costs, maybe you can borrow them (I was joking). But I think it's great when parents and children have the same interests when it comes to vacation. That's exactly what we like about your films. Enjoy this. It should go on for a long time, but at some point it will be over and you won't be able to get a second back. My mother was in Florida with us in 1992 (we gave it to her as a gift for all the help in our small business). Both parents were there again in 1993. Unfortunately my father passed away in 2010 and my mother in 2018 and I am very happy to have so many films from these holidays. I know I'm not DisneyDink.. but as someone who has flown out of T5 & T3 at Heathrow. I can personally say it's probably one of the best airports in the UK to fly from, so easy to navigate despite the size of each terminal etc.

Hey, appreciate the watch! I wasn’t sure wether to put up or not but yeah, we managed to record a bit on our time off so I have more to come! It was actually fairly straight forward at Heathrow, we would fly from there again. Just not as much time for relaxing/ shopping beforehand if anything as the travel to get to the gates is longer than Manchester etc we thought but it was well organised… not sure about the whole check your own bag in thing like 🤔 lol the monorail works well as transport between the gates too!

Sorry for late reply!! Yeah first holiday just the 2 of us, I actually went to do an internship and we made a holiday of it too. I’m almost done with next instalment, which will be our first weekend off to go exploring. Lots of going up and down escalators at Heathrow I noticed watching the video back 😂 was cool seeing the planes on final approach for landing as we flew over them too, just one after the other! Hope all is good 🙂

Hi, I haven't been back since the pandemic yet but there's defo a few things that I can imagine have changed it, not for the better. Was it all the genie plus etc? the park reservation system is something I'm not looking forward to when we go again, and some of the new shows. Hoping to go back soon. For all I don't like the sound of a lot of the changes at some of the parks, I can't help but want to go back as soon as we can. Im glad we have so many pre-pandemic memories, and others too, they really are the best times - Danielle

@@DisneyDink we did genie plus only once it didn't work out as you spend all of your time on the phone we were able to get a DAS pass which was excellent for Disney not so for universal (park is so popular since velociraptor)and having been in it I understand why the wife and I are back in may for 7days to take advantage of annual pass I really miss the 747s hope you get back soon .nigel

I can imagine, people are on their phones enough without encouraging it even more. As much as I’d like to see fast passes plus return, they make too much money off the genie plus system so don’t ever see them stopping it now which is a shame. Ah great, we’ve done the DAS pass when it was the old system obviously so would be interesting next time we go. We never tried it at universal to be honest, as it’s Joe, my other half, who uses it he actually can’t ride alot of the rides in universal anyway as they are much more restraining on legs so I guess we never bothered to check them. May will be round soon enough 😄 I wish I was going. I think we are planning to book for the end of the year 🤞 we miss the 747s too. We use to head over to Manchester frequently to watch them, it’s not been the same since they went out of service so we don’t go over as often now - Danielle

I have started to enjoy the space Center more over the years, as they’ve added the Atlantis exhibit etc and we’ve done some of the different tours… the VAB tour was probably my favourite to appreciate the size of the building! My dad and Joe my other half, also love space in general too, they are pretty obsessed lol

No probs, hope you enjoy it 🙂 it’s a nice hotel and we usually visit the airport pub on weekends so that’s why we went there rather than eat in the hotel. It’s recently been refurbed too but I haven’t been since it re opened 👍

@@DisneyDink One day I will get t visit the Gardens. But yeah they have such great theming. We are doing really good 😁 We finally got away on holiday at start of May 2 weeks in Turkey all inclusive at Tui BlueTropical. It was such a relaxing holiday ,We definitely needed it over the active on the go Florida holiday. But now I crave Florida and rollercoaster soo much haha. I better get saving 🤣. How were the airports for you guys? Hope it was all smooth! You and me both 😂 bank account says no, but we want to go haha we are all good thank you! Not booked, but certainly getting closer to pushing that button 😂 we've actually sent off for villa and car hire quotes now for the dates we are looking at. Car hire is gradually getting better, prices were just insane for ages...its actually flights that are most expensive at the moment so I think we are looking at in-direct (which we use to do back in the day). Manchester is really expensive so looking at travelling down to LHR cause they are cheaper and have more in-direct options too. Obviously done Gatwick a couple of times, and got diverted to LHR 😂 but have never gone from there which would be something different anyway 😊 I will announce on my instagram when/if we do 🤞but if your not on there I'll defo drop you a comment 😄

@@DisneyDink Thank you 😊, We flew from Glasgow Airport, So the airport for us was quick, easy and stress free. We saw on the news all the chaos from Manchester and other airports around the UK.. It looked horrific 😥. The whole prep-work for booking Florida is always exciting ..But in these expensive and uncertain times, it might be a little stressful too i guess. I do hope yous find a good deal and manage to get booked😁😁 . And hey! going indirect is just another adventure before the holiday haha. Yeah not on Instagram. Facebook and CZcams are about my limit for social media.. showing my age 😂 Staying Tuned 😁

Ah glad you guys didn’t have to deal with all that, hope it all settles down soon 😩 I forgot to say on the tyre rides, infinity falls is up there for fun too, popeyes still no1 though lol! We love the prep too, it’s a good lead up to booking but yeah it’s been more stressful with trying to find decent prices at the same time. My dad usually does the prep but he’s been working stupid hours so me and Joe are in charge 🤪 got a full excel spreadsheet on the go for it all to compare… pennies make pounds and all that 🤣 it is more stressful booking everything individually but hopefully worth it! Hey! Apologies for the delay in uploads, we have had a lot going on with one thing and another family wise, but I did start editing again this week! The next one should be up before the weekend (its more an atmospheric one though than talking) but I'm editing the one after that too ready to get it up so I don't fall behind once I put the next one out. We are doing ok but Florida is definitely not happening for us this year just due to the shear cost and timescale to save. So we've transferred the holidays to 2 week away in Turkey all inclusive for the same date, 5th of May this year.. cannot wait 😁.
