Nice looking Limited. Did you look into installing the automatic running boards? I just bought a 2024 Limited 4WD 2 row, the 2024's have an option for automatic running boards. I was unable to find a 4WD 2 row Limited with the auto boards, so ultimately bought one without them. Looks like Toyota is putting the auto boards mostly on the 3 row Limiteds. There are aftermarket automatic running boards available, but I'd prefer the OEM version, which is only a factory installed option apparently, and not a port or dealer option.

Hell of a video, I’m going through all of this right now and it’s ridicules, I haven’t even had the truck that long 3 yrs, the car converter is definitely rattling, it’s at the dealer right now they’re getting new fazers and my valve cover gasket are leaking once again I’m about ready to get rid of the truck, I love it when it’s running but the last 4 months it’s cost me 5k

Nice easy mod and great video and details! I don't like that it's pulling the oil line towards unscrewing and could potentially rub eventually springing an oil leak on a hot turbo exhaust housing. Is there a reason you can't add some tension to the arm at the adjustment nut? Does the vehicle then compensate for that when it's warm and change the zero point for the solenoid?

Thanks for the heads up on this issue. My Colorado Ford dealership gave me a sight unseen estimate of $3,000 to replace the injectors for the "rattle" issue, which as we know is corrupt on their part. My local ace hardware had a close-enough spring: 7/16" width, 5 inches long, that I cut and bent to be 3 1/2" Overall Length. The spring section itself was 2 1/8" long. The 3 1/2" length gave consistent gentle pressure to the gate valve linkage.

Didn’t work for me because the light never came back on to do the final buckle/unbuckle. 😩 2021 Escape

That style was the 6th generation not the 4th. The 6th was the final generation of the Taurus.

I have a 2018 raptor I get a rattle when accelerating when I get to about 25 mph the rattle lasts for about 2 seconds then goes away.. mechanic shop tried to tell me it’s my timing belt but I don’t think they put it in 4wd when they test drove it, when in 4wd it’s makes no noise?

We have a 2018 F150 with the 3.5 eco-boost. It currently has 52,000 km (about 32,000 miles). It started rattling the other day and I'm told that it needs cam phasers and a timing chain. $4000 repair less than six month after the warranty expired. If you're thinking of buying Ford, don't.

If your trucks past the 60k mile or whatever warranty. Your better off just replacing the cam phasers when needed. The extended warranties cost twice as much as the repair does lol

So the BLue wire on the truck acts as the parking light and brake light for the light bar?

I got my answer back from MVP. Although I didn’t contact Moe. Himself the answer that I got back was not the one that I was hoping for. The email said that they used to make them. But had so many complaints and problems that it wasn’t worth the effort. I have a set of the Ford ones with the oval. And it works great. So far. I have the emblem that I want in the light. Now I just have to find someone to put it together so that it works in that 2017 Silverado puddle light. Does anyone know of someone that does this type of work? Please contact me.

using acid to clean your coil soon will also replace the entire condenser unit due to acid eating up the cooling aluminum coil. leaving the acid on the coil for 3o minutes is a long time to deteriorate the aluminum 2x faster.

I bought a folding cover for a full-size truck 8-foot bed. It did seal protect and was very waterproof. But the awkwardness of using it outweighed any benefits. The lid was very heavy aluminum and foam in between. Gets hot quickly. You had to unlatch it from the underneath. By reaching up inside and releasing the latches.One on each side. Lift that section and gently set it down on the other. I burned my fingers and I dropped on the next section putting a nice dent in it. When you opened it all up you still had that third section to deal with. You could place it beside the back window. But it recommends that you don’t drive with it there. Too much wind resistance. And everything wants to slide up front. Where you can't reach. So bring a pole with you. As you can guess not a big fan. I kept it for a year but the bad outweighed the good. So I just gave it away. Dont miss it at all . Went with a Roll N Lock.
