How do I make the water system aware of a potential risk for lack of sewer connections for RVs at Emma wood state beach. I was a host for two years at VSB. In 22 water was pumped from tanks at Emma wood and carried by truck to site C at SBV. City closed he dump site and when I came back in 23 had to empty my tanks at site B site at SBV. Why is there two big motor homes camping a Emma Wood currently without any existing sewer system so close to ocean?

Glad they are getting this done and not listening to NIMBYS..Its an inconvience as a park user and a surfer but we need sustainable solutions and big picture thinking

If I remove a gate valve can I replace the gate valve with a pressure regulator valve in the spot where gate valve was at.

Marina Park and local Pierpont residents are up in arms about this. The park is a treasured landmark. It is an integral part of our families', our children's, and the community's daily lives. Your plans to close and tear up the park--which for many of us is literally our front yard--with this unprecedented, massive, industrial construction (even erecting sound walls!) to lay enormous, complex, underground pipelines to carry waste out into the ocean raise serious concerns about safety and the impact on nearby residents and residences. (Let alone the environment and the structural integrity of our delicate coastline, in a public place.) What about the thousands of people who depend on this park for their place of refuge, a daily sanctuary? We were told that the new playground could not be completed until it is finished, because the vibration of the drilling could dislodge the anchors of the equipment. What about the structural integrity of our homes, merely feet away from such severely invasive, environmentally disruptive excavation and drilling? What about airborne particulates, potential health hazards, and unimaginable noise pollution? And how will residents be compensated for this massive disruption and invasion to their daily lives, this potential damage to our fragile coastline, their properties and their health, safety, well-being? Higher taxes? This was passed and slipped under the nose of the community during the pandemic, is set to begin next month in May (lasting for how long?) and locals are in shock. Why the city did not go with the much less invasive previous plan to lay it under the actual harbor/marina and instead in a highly populated residential and public area, with evidently no concern on its impact to nearby residents and daily park and beach goers, is beyond us--and frankly, careless and egregious. The majority of residents do not support this monstrous, destructive and devastating error in judgment in your choice of location, and will fight to stop it. The Pierpont community implores you to reconsider.

A few questions from a fellow operator who has operated a Zee-Weed plant-1. Do you use coagulation to create a 'pin' floc to remove color, organics and most of the particulates so the Zee Weed does not foul?. We used a large greensand pressure filter post Zee Weed to remove iron and manganese. 2. How do you disinfect the Zee Weed filter effluent? 3. What do you do with your solids? 4. Describe the CIP process for cleaning the Zee Weed filter cassetts. Very good presentation. Thank you. I always love to see other operations. I work for an RO groundwater facility in Virginia.

Water in Ventura is expensive and the quality is not very good. Very hard water and not drinkable. You have to invest in a water softener and R/O system to get around these issues, which adds costs that are in addition to an exorbitant water bill. It's like having a car payment even though your car is paid off. I wonder what the inflation rate has been for Ventura water over the last 5-10 years?
