A tax on businesses is a tax on all of us. Businesses just pass it along to consumers in the pricing of their products where we are already being hit by another tax called inflation. Taxing the rich means nothing because the rich don’t receive paychecks. That’s why the rich are all for raising those rates in the top brackets, because they will never pay them since their income comes from lower taxed sources, like dividends and capital gains. So, raising the brackets only affects us working stiffs. It’s all a political game played by the Democrats. They scream the rich need to pay their fair share, and raise those tax brackets heavily on the rich and less so on the rest of us, but the rich never pay those taxes because they don’t get paychecks! It’s the biggest con job ever and so many of you are such suckers for it.
