The combo is great and it is the deck that Michele Verissimo used in his championship. The only bad thing is that you always have to go first and don't get interrupted by Hadstraps too much, which is difficult. And if you are second, pray that the enemy does not put too many denials and/or that you get a Nibiru in the draw. In order to win both first and second place, I go with Mikanko/Servant Nadir/Golem/Kaiju and breaking cards all the time on the table

the thing is that now the sunvine engine dies at one negate-destroy of dryas, not more re-summoning loci to make dryas again

This combo doesn’t end with Petal in gy but that’s fixable. Simply summon lonefire off jasmine, then lonefire into laurel. At the end, add back lonefire with strenna and summon it with snowdrop, then summon petal with lonefire and add follow up.

The only major gap in this at first glance is that we never get the Rikka Petal in GY for the follow up. I hope the new aroma support will give it some good options.

Before, only way to completely shut down a rikkavalon combo was to stop first dryas or sowing from resolving, and it would only work if you had zero extenders, otherwise you could always make a formidable board trough a handtrap. Now there are several spots where a single handtrap shuts down the combo

The issue is that one piece of interruption now ruins the board and bystials can disrupt the play, unlike in the original combo. Aromalylith should fix those issues though when it comes out.
