15 years of severe fatigue and brain fog improved rapidly with PNM Fixed orthotic!
For more information www.MidwestHeadaches.com
Greg is from Scottsdale, Arizona. He owns a successful gym helping athletes among others to achieve high performance. He has worked in the fitness space for decades.
Greg had an injury to the jaw while playing hockey 15 years ago and ever since has been suffering from severe fatigue and brain fog. He had consulted with over 40 doctors - physicians and dentists to improve his health. In that journey, he had Vivos DNA appliance therapy to improve his upper jaw form. Later had Surgically Assisted Rapid Palatal Expansion, braces, tongue tie surgery, myofunctional therapy, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, nasal septoplasty to correct a deviated septum, nasal valve surgery. While he had some improvements in being able to breathe better, his fatigue and brain fog continued.
Dr Raman’s clinical examination confirmed that Greg had jaw alignment “TMJ” problems and that is the likely root cause of his many symptoms even beyond the jaw.
Greg went through detailed diagnostic tests including our unique "Raman CCMD Protocol" of Physiologic Neuro Muscular Dental (PNMD) procedure to determine the optimal jaw and neck alignment. Balance tests revealed that his postural compensations were primarily due to the jaw alignment. So that linked his jaw problem to whole body symptoms such as fatigue.
All the findings and options for treatment were reviewed during the consultation prior to starting phase 1 treatment. He was then fitted with a physiologic neuromuscular fixed orthotic for 90 days as a reversible phase 1 treatment. This is both a therapeutic and diagnostic step. Even though phase 1 fixed orthotic is only on the lower teeth, like teeth extensions to make up for the jaw alignment discrepancy, there needs to be enough of an improvement of symptoms to give the patient confidence to go forward with treatment or to give up and reverse course.
Greg started noticing improvements very quickly - even with 4 days. This is one of the important reasons that we use a PNM Fixed orthotic. It is correcting the jaw alignment truly 24/7, every second of the day. Of course, the key is how accurately the jaw / neck alignment was diagnosed first. That is the alignment that the fixed orthotic maintains.
Within 90 days of Phase 1 PNM Fixed orthotic, all of his symptoms were improving significantly.
Reviewed top symptoms and level of improvement 1. Fatigue - 60%. 2. Brain fog - 60%. 3. Visual overload - 60-70%. Strength and endurance have improved by 100%.
Performed muscle palpations and recorded 2/44 painful points with a pain score of 6/132 vs 22/44 painful points with a pain score of 64/132 pre op. Checked cranio-cervical range of motion 90 degrees to the right and 90 degrees to the left vs 2 degrees to the right and 2 degrees to the left pre op.
Greg was happy to get significant relief of his symptoms with phase 1. He chose to have Neuromuscular Functional Orthopedics and Orthodontics as his Phase 2 option. We will further improve his upper jaw form and move his lower teeth along with their bone and gum support to meet the upper teeth over time to maintain his optimal jaw and neck position for life time
#ReasonForMyPassion for treating #TMD/ #CCMD and teaching PNMD Physiologic Neuro Muscular Dentistry is being able to help nice people get their quality of life back.
The #PowerOfPNMD to help resolve so many disabling symptoms continues to amaze me.

They make a custom splint for the lower teeth. On the side of the clicking, they add a bulge there. So when you bite down the jaw gets aligned. It takes a few weeks to fully align, you’ve gotta wear it all day and night. Once it’s aligned, you’ve gotta wear the splint every night. If you stop wearing it at night the popping will come back eventually. So my advice, continue to wear the splint every night without fail and you’ll be good.

I have essential tremor and it is progressively getting worse. I am sympathetic toward this guy whose tremor is worse than my own. He seems like a great guy. It is difficult to live with tremor because people judge you or they avoid getting close to you. As difficult as the simplest task has become, like putting on pierced earrings, what bothers me most is I feel insecure around people. I try now to avoid social events. I wonder if they think I am an alcoholic with the DTS or because I delight in gardening, I wonder if neighbors think I expose myself to toxic substances ,insecticides, herbicides etc. I have become paranoid. I find it humiliating.

    • @ramancentertmj
      @ramancentertmj Před 6 měsíci

PNMD = Physiologic NeuroMuscular Dental Physiologic - primary focus is the function / physiology of jaw muscles, neck muscles, tongue function, airway function, overall posture down to feet. NeuroMuscular - Nerves control muscles. By stimulating / relaxing (like an electronic massage) the muscle that control the jaw and neck to allow those structures to align where ALL these muscles are unstrained - not short or long but neutral - diagnose that position of the jaw Dental - jaw is moved by the muscles which are controlled by the nerves. But teeth just go for the ride when the jaw moves. However, where the teeth fit together necessitates those muscles to contract to bring the upper and lower teeth together - "bite" dentists call "occlusion". So the way we correct the jaw / neck alignment is to add to the teeth (with an orthotic first) so that the upper teeth come together against the orthotic that is added on to the lower teeth. I hope that answers your question

I have had problems with my head, jaw, neck, back, hips for more than 10 years. Recently all my simptoms have gotten worse having anxiety, ear ringing, diziness, head pressure, tics in both my eyes and cronic fatigue. I have seen many chiropractors, physiotherapists, neurologist, ENT, maxilofacial.. being the last one the first one that I visited as my body was telling me that something was wrong in that area.. he said that I had an issue with my right condyle but that it was for life and that it should not give me any issues beside from the cracking... I have felt helpless and not curable too like the lady in the video. Finally I have found a doctor two weeks ago here in the Canary Islands that told me that what I have is a TMJ disorder and that this is causing me all the problems. She initially did some dental carving to adjust the occlusion and she is going to do orthodontics that will work on both palates do further adjust the occlusion. Apparently she has seen many patients with issues like mine before and I should get better within 18 months. I am very happy that I have finally found someone that can help me and that tells me that I am not crazy like all of the doctors that I have previously seen saying that all I had was anxiety. Thank you @ramancentertmj for making all this videos as it really helps to see that there is recovery path that we can take and that we are not alone. I hope that the one that I am taking it is as succesful as your methods. God bless you.

I know that it is irritating and annoying. So far, it sounds like it has not been painful or got locked. You are fortunate now. Don't listen to dentists that say to ignore it since it is not painful. That is what I was taught in dental school as well. EVERY single patient that finds me after the condition gets much worse and could not function anymore...had many years of 'painless' but annoying clicks and pops. Most of the time their dentists were unconcerned since it was 'painless' or had no solutions besides a night guard. The same dentists would not ignore a 'painless' cavity because they know how to fix it and they also know, if you ignore a cavity long enough it reaches the pulp, pain and root canal treatment or extraction. All the best.

Most doctors - physician specialists and dental specialists - are unaware that these varied symptoms you are suffering with can be related to a single root cause - poor jaw and neck alignment! That root cause can be diagnosed and actually corrected without surgery. My main reason for posting over 100 case history videos on my channel is to give HOPE for sufferers like you. So don't lose hope. For those that are in the USA or Canada and want me to help them, give them that help. Before Covid lock down, we used to see a few overseas patients. I wish you all the best.

Alex is continuing to improve in symptom relief now that she is proceeding with Phase 2 where her constricted upper arch is corrected. It is going to take some time for the outwardly visible appearance to improve dramatically. Some of these changes such as the 'development' of the neck muscles took years, just like a body builder builds muscles.

Would it be possible to include side views of these patients? This device will protrude the jaw forward, that's why there won't be any clicking. It would be useful to see that.
