Federico Bonacossa is a composer and classical guitarist based in Miami Florida. He studied classical guitar at the Conservatorio Statale G. P. da Palestrina in Italy before moving to the U.S. He holds a master’s degree for the Peabody Conservatory and a doctorate from the University of Miami in classical guitar performance. He also holds a master’s degree in music composition from Florida International University where he studied composition and electronic music.
His recent work as a composer explores various forms of interaction between live performers and the computer, the relationship between pitch and rhythm, and the transcription of spontaneous vocal gestures with the aid of the computer. He has been collaborating with Dance NOW since 2010.
As a performer he is involved in promoting new music for guitar, especially works that feature electronics. He is also a member of the Miami Guitar Trio.

when comes to the list function, I can't create the superior inlets...it doesn't work!

Hello, thanks a lot for this! I have installed OM6.16 and I am following this tutorial to learn. But seems like there is something different in my version that I couldn’t see the player button and hear the midi sound. How to solve that?

Hey! Could you help me? When I am into the route settings the option "aria player" doesn't appear and in all channels sound the same instrument, the first one.
Hi Victor. Perhaps you assigned a custom name to the Aria player track. The name doesn't actually matter. As for the playback issue, when setting up each instrument track be sure to specify which instrument the MIDI date is routed to. It sounds like you may have it set to "all." Hope this helps!

10 months later, but: The scripts are saved as a default, so that you do not have to write them for each project!
Thanks for the video! I just purchased Garritan World Instruments as part of a Finale upgrade and while I could get the Aria Player loaded with instruments in Reaper, I couldn't figure out how to create a midi channel for the 16 channels. Your explanation was clear and it worked for me. I did note that you went to the input of each channel and first selected virtual keyboard then Midi all channels. I think those two are either/or. You either have a virtual keyboard driving your channel or midi input. I tried to follow your instructions but the virtual keyboard became deselected after selecting all midi channels.

Thanks for the video ! I'm trying to setup Aria Player (GPO4) into Reaper. I got as far as your video shows but... how can I control the mixing (volume and panning) from the Reaper mixer instead of the Aria mixer ? Thanks in advance for any light :)

Hi Gaspar and I apologize for the late response. You can change panning directly in each track by turning the pan knob. It is located to the right of the route button.

Thanks for this tutorial! I'm following it at the moment. You could add one thing: when you introduce the various elements by typing them in, you could annotate which menu they belong to.
