Boy's Love (BL) Anime Openings [QUIZ]
Welcome to our BL Anime Openings Quiz! We meant to upload this last month alongside our Yuri Openings video to celebrate pride month, but time got away from us! We still hope you enjoy the video!
It was hard finding a lot of BL shows on MAL (MyAnimeList.com) that weren't completely explicit so some shows are not tagged as BL but instead have a large fandom who may ship two male characters together. Or some may just have some BL undertones! If you know, you know. Don't flame us too hard for our choices.
It is also hard to find shows that don't copyright us so harshly so some shows could not be included for that reason.
You only get 7 seconds to guess! There are a couple of repeat shows.
There are a total of 46 songs in case you don't want to keep score our way.

It is part of a popular franchise, but I didn’t think that the opening was super well known/how many people watched it for the yuri. So that’s why I placed it where it was. Thanks for watching and commenting though, keep it in mind next yime
112 BASED quiz! but the difficulty is all over the place, like how Sasameki Koto in easy when it's probably the hardest song from the video, and UzaMaid in otaku when it's quite easy and i'm pretty sure Candy Boy is an ending other than that great video 👍
Glad you liked it and did well. I guess I could’ve based it more off the song than the show, I did it more on show popularity, but I’ll put that into consideration next time. Okay, I'm old enough and my stable knowledge of anime ended more than 10 years ago (which allowed me to guess here everything that is loved and dear to my oldschool heart), but my self-esteem definitely rose when I realized that I guessed School Boys 😂

This song is more than an opening for me. This is something that touches the all strings of my soul, turning absolutely everything inside me.
I'm happy that Rose Hip Bullet made it onto the list 😭.... that's what made me a Granrodeo fan (but sometimes I have a feeling that I'm the only one who actually liked that anime 🤔)
I have never watched it personally, but I became a fan of Granrodeo after I realized the singer was also Natsuki from UtaPri (my fav character and singer). So if you like Granrodeo, you might like some of the music from that show!

Tried to put as many with the shoujo ai tag on MAL first, then had to fill the rest of the slots per category. Some shows that have yuri implications are more popular than the actual yuri anime so they were put in easier categories. Thanks for your insight, we will keep it in mind for the next video! Yeah, some of them may seem random. Like I put in the intro and description, it was kind of hard finding stuff that is explicitly BL and we try to put at least 46 songs in a video. I used a lot of forums and articles to find ones people shipped characters and thought had BL undertones! Thanks for watching though!! 😅
