This is not a bash on rock pirates , I own and like a lot of their products, however I found it hillarious that I went to axialfest with a rock pirates rig that literally had zero axial parts on it except wild boar drive shafts. I also took a gspeed v4 with stock Capra axles, axial drive shafts and axial transmission and they said it wasn’t axial enough and wouldn’t let me run it? LOL. How does that work . Saw a ton of other rock pirate rigs with no axial parts on them. One even had trx4 portals .
Next time put some Rock Pirates stickers on your G-speed & you’ll be good ta’ go! 😂

Got one in early October from a small shop in Michigan. Drove it once and the servo went bad, its been two weeks and finally Horizon Hobby is sending a replacement. Hope to be bashing soon.

I can't believe how cheap it was $220 which is probably about £180/£190 ( I'm English) I was looking at them but they're about £400 over here so about $460 ish,sounds like it would be so much cheaper to buy in the US and ship it over

2 weeks before deliv to Fla & A main staff was with me on updates every couple of days .
It took mine well over a week. Perchased from Horizon hobby. Ther customer service is no help. Then they charged me an extra $18 when they finally shipped it. It overheats constantly also.

Very cool dude!!! I’ll have to check em out. I contemplate doing a lcg w my 24 but tend to just work on my 1/10. Other than the mods I’ve done to my 24 tonstock chassis it’s maxed out in performance. Move down stuff around banded weighted widened. Great feeling rundown on front rails etc. Check me out sometime! Big sub t ya dude!!!

So what you think of this lil nightmare? Utoob did the recommend to me on this vid. I personally dislike mine very much.. lol Ive chopped, melted, relocated, upgraded and a bunch more to it in attempts to make it better, still I dont like it at all. I think its ONLY good for tiny lil rocks or its going to flip... over and over
It’s a great starter rig for someone coming into the crawler hobby for the average hobbyist it’s most likely a shrug off

Your right the quality is unmatched and my only complaint with the chassis is it being a flat skid. I just couldn't get into it since I've ran angled skids on my crawlers. Also I noticed if you're using a 10.2 it's the best bolt on upgrade but I built mine off a BaseCamp and it didn't make much difference since the SCX10.3 chassis is pretty good.
