Thanks! This is actually the first run ever done for this game (as far as I'm aware). The game is pretty hard and also quite long, so this is just for the normal ending only and without the cat enemy.

In order to get the true ending you have to turn every NPC into monsters.

Well, it depends on the game and the console. If there aren't any differences between playing on emulator or console (as in speed, loading times, etc.) then it's fine, like in this game. But if there are differences that end up affecing the time of the run, then most of the time there will be separate categories for running on emulator or original hardware.

Hey, I don't think so. It's a good run for sure, but the time I was aiming to beat was 1:18, so maybe it's possible to do better, either with better gameplay or with better RNG.

Hi, it's been a while since I did a run of this, so I don't remember if there were harder tricks that I didn't do in this video. I do remember there were quite a lot of cool skips that I did in this run, and since this is currently the WR, you could say this are all the existing skips that at least I could find.

Hi, although the game closes itself, it's considered a game over, at least for this speedrun category. As to why it doesn't count, it's arbitrary, since the category was made by another person a long time ago, before I did the run. The 3 endings that count for this category are: 1) Reaching the "glitch ending" where you get to the glitch world and "crash" the game through Missingno. 2) The "fake ending" where you get a game over after fighting BuriedAlive. 3) The "real ending" where you turn everyone in town into monsters.

No, Any% currently is completing all levels as intended (starting on 1 and finishing on 18, like on this video). A category like that would be kind of dumb since it implies only completing the last level, which would fit better on a individual level leaderboard rather than be a full game category.

it's like sonic it's based on how many gems you have. If you have at least 1 you lose it, if you have 0 you die
