Installing Hard of Hearing Systems Made Easy!
Why would you space the 4 inch speakers further from each other than the 8 inch speakers? in the coverage graph you showed, you had less overlap coverage with 4 inch placed at 14 feet than you did the 8 inch at 10 feet. That doesn't make sense. In my opinion 14 feet of separation is too far for any size speaker, unless the ceiling height is really high.
Nice!
Lowell 810 speaker wiring
Is he ptaying to the speaker god?
Can I use this speakers at home for tv
@Gaspar Ma This style of system is not typically used for home entertainment systems. The components are higher priced compared to consumer grade items and the speakers will often not have the same fidelity ranges as those designed to work in a home theater system. However, there is nothing preventing you from connecting the audio output of a TV/DVR/Game Console to a 70V amp. Sports bars and restaurants will often do this so patrons can hear what is playing on their main screens. You just need to make sure the i/o of the two devices are compatible.
Question: Wouldn't the 100 v line cause electric shock if someone touches the wires at the connecting points ?
@Suhaila Saba - YES! A 100V line can cause shock if someone is in contact with live terminals and/or wires when the system is operating. 100/70/25V systems are classified as Low Voltage and do not pose the same shock hazards as the electrical system in your house or business (a good comparison is the 48V ring signal that was used on telephone hard lines). However, they do still pose a risk of electrical shock if handled improperly and they can cause electrical shorts and even fires if not wired and installed correctly. All safety and wiring guidelines must be followed when installing. That being said, the risk is much lower and if you follow common sense guidelines you likely will never experience any of those issues. If you would like a more in-depth look at low-voltage systems and how the standards where settled on, check out this great article from Rane Commercial: www.ranecommercial.com/legacy/pdf/ranenotes/Constant_Voltage_Audio_Distribution_Systems.pdf
@@ProAudioSuperstore Thank you for your great explanation.
That is the real difference between the 70 and 100 v systems. The Electrical code defines 100 v rms as hazardous and therefore a conduit installation is required, but the 70 volt system is 70 v rms with only occasional 100 v peaks and therefore conduit is not required. If you touch the 70 volt system wires when it is running a strong signal you will definitely feel it!
@@jimlearned588 Thank you for your answer.
Como conecto bocina jbl 8128. Tiene 5 cables y no se cuales tomar para conectarla a mi amplificador. Mil gracias.
You will only use two wires. Select the color that matches the wattage you want and the black (common) wires. Example: Orange and Black will give you 6W, Brown and Black will give you 3W, etc... For wattage ratings, see specification sheet - jblpro.com/en-US/product_documents/jbl_8124_8128_v1-pdf-78311bd0-7da8-4b36-bd44-fd2935cf3889
Ceiling speaker how to convert LED TV Directly Connected with usb and audio Jack
You mention that having speaker wires with twisted pairs are important in 70v applications, but never explain why that is. Can we have an explanation please?
@Mitsubishi Starion Good question! Twisted cable lowers the induced magnetic field around the cables and lowers the voltage induced in those same cables. In short, it reduces 'crosstalk' interference between the individual (and un-shielded) cables in multi-conductor cables, be that a dual conductor speaker cable or mulit-conductor CAT cable or some other variant.
Just got a pair of zlx15p. Love the sound great speakers.
Great video Rob !
How do i Couple two 12000 behringer power amp?
How much ?
Is there any solution if I want to run 2 cables? For example if placement of speakers is too far apart where it is not practical to run the cable to one side then to the other on same "chain"?

How do you tell if you have a constant voltage transformer if there is no info on it

The speaker itself is around $18.00. With all of the mounting hardware, it's about $40.
+ProAudioSuperstore u meam the cover itself

+ProAudioSuperstore well i can put it on a bucket is easier and i like the speaker it selfs semce i never seen the fron of it

Lin mis-spoke when he said 136dB @ 1W/1M. He was referring to Max SPL, not sensitivity.
Dear ProAudioSuperstore; At 0:43, he says 136 dB @ 1W/1m. These have 136dB in sensitivity? Please confirm

Great informative video!! One question though, why is twisted pair wire needed on the speaker feed lines?
The people who downplay these speakers are probably the ones who haven't heard them, cant afford them, or have only bought one type of speaker in their lifetime.
I am sold on this product !!!!!!!!!!!!! Thumbs up !
If this worked with Windows, I'd have one right now.
something that i couldnt get any clear answers too yet: if i plug this into my pc through usb, will I be able to record all the inputs seperately through cubase? or can i only store audios which will be recorded by the console?
It has multi-tracking capabilities via USB to a computer, but it is currently Mac only. However, using the Qu-Drive USB port on the top of the mixer, you can connect a USB hard drive and record all 16 tracks as well as the LR stereo output straight to the hard drive. You could then take those files and import them into Cubase on your PC.
ProAudioSuperstore okay thanks for the reply. I hope they can add windows toio it, would be pretty sweet. I have one follow up question though: will the recorded audios be pre or post all the processing that I will be doing with the console? I mean if I eq a mic will that eq be done in the recording as well?
zize the Etx-15sp
For some reason, at first I thought it had to do with having to wire up a long production plant. Wow that's crazy
2,000 watts come on man....can they even touch the ZXA5's in power @ 1,250 watts be for real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't mind anyone calling them out on their fluffed wattage numbers but think about their target audience. If they truly listed the 'real' power ratings, the noobs would bypass these ETX and choose the other bigger wattage speakers EVERY time.
Dj Jest Jamm Extreme power!!!!!!!!!!!!
136 DBs at 1 watt/1 meter!!! Ha ha. :-) Truly astounding indeed.
Nice but i'll keep my Yorkvilles @ $1,100 that will blow 2 of them out the water!!!
Wrong!
The guy is talking about mixers and he doesn't know how you're supposed to talk into a microphone
Make sure when your talking with your client you explain all that shit he just said about this speaker. I'm sure they'll really want to know all that. Also tell them how they will make you the best dj ever. Now charge them an arm and a leg so you can afford them. Name brand and fancy promo with a higher sticker price doesn't make you a better dj. Now if they said, best of all these come in at a lower price point hmmmm... oh well not today. One Love Dj Malarky out.

Yes, absolutely. You can multiple home runs to the amplifier. Like you said, the most important thing is that everything stay in parallel.
Hello I was reading 70v installation process but I still have a doubt. And my question is this I'm installing a 70v system with 12 speaker and what I have been looking at is that the most important part is that the connections be in parallel, but my doubt is can I RUN 1 wire and daisy chain 6 speakers to one side and then run another wire with another 6 to another side and have both sets of speaker coming out of the amplifier. or in another words have to home runs with 6 speakers each
Unfortunately, no. We do not ship outside of the United States and Canada.
Hi @ProAudioSuperstore do you ship these worldwide?
The Eris E5 will be $149.95.each and the E8 will be $249.95/each. They are available for pre-order on our website now!
The same here! Time to compare them as I should get the Dynaudio 5Amk2. But let my ears make the decision (together with my wallet)
Interesting, time to find a vendor....to hear to confirm that purchase. But, seem that I will have them!
