Luckily , because we're the only people diving here the animals often come to check us out rather than just swimming away, so this one came back 3 times and it's very hard not to get excited whenever you get these magical encounters! Letting the animal come to us is always much better here though, especially if you swim after them and then get drifted away in the currents instead!🙂 0:50 🤙🙏

This is the 'Manta Pot' in Belongas! South Lombok. 😊🙏🤙

We see hammerheads, black tips, coral cat sharks, occasional whalesharks, grey reef sharks and have also seen a bull shark and a thresher Shark, but big whitetips we see on nearly every dive.

Our main season for the hammerheads, mobulas and mantas runs from April/May until November/ December and yes..... Belongas is known for having strong currents and is definitely for experienced divers only. The conditions there can be very changeable and we also get big waves and cold water, but the rewards can be amazing and if it was super easy, then we definitely wouldn't have only seen 11 other dive boats there in the last 8 years!😅🙏🤙 Hope to see you soon!

😂If you say so!?? 🤔Luckily the mantas, hammerheads, sharks, seakraits, mola molas, mobulas and massive schools of fish all seem to like it there aswell as all the Indo usuals and macro so we're still going to keep diving and posting videos sorry.😅

@@jochensommer308 Ok Jochen, we'll have to agree to disagree then because I've been diving there for 8 years and love the conditions! Perfect vis would be great, but the average here is 10-15m ,the same as in a lot of places, but I understand if it's not for you. Like I said.... sorry 🙏

@@wildscubaindonesia7297 No, for me no Problem! Here in Coiba we have the same! Four different currents, degrees, thermoklines, etc.

The main season is from April/May until November/December because they seem to come shallower with the colder currents😊🙏
