They really should use this op entrace in other anime it would be a great hit
I remember this scene when the whole audience cheered so loud for Atem’s return.
😢
Nobody: Literally nobody: Me: AW HELL YEAH ITS YAMI, ATEM, YU-GI-OH, THE KING OF GAMES AND HE'S HERE TO DESTINY DRAW ALL OVER DIVA AND THE KING OF GAMES IS WHIPPING DIVA'S ASSSSSSSS TONIGHT.
0:47 I love how Mahad was kneeling when summoned. Part of me likes to think he was bowing to both Atem *and* Yugi
The pharaoh known as king atem sure knows how to make an entrance
Am I the only one that wants a remake of the original series with this animation?
This is the one you've been looking for
“This is the one we’ve been looking for… Step out of the hovercraft, you are under arrest by the empire for yelling in the theatre.”
I love how unabashedly, unapologetically, beautifully 'shonen' this scene is. YGO (The original series, I mean.) was never really one of those 'power level' shows. From pretty early on, it was cemented that the God Monsters were the strongest cards. The protagonists didn't get flashy new powerups - they just bought new cards and used them to evolve and streamline their strategies. The big character flaw Yugi and Yami had to overcome wasn't being too weak to stop the big villain of the arc. It was just uncertainty: Yugi was a timid and quiet little guy, and Yami didn't remember most of his life as Pharaoh Atem... and also was kind of a prick at times. By the end of the anime, Yugi was a lot braver, and Atem regained everything he'd lost - and a few things he hadn't had before. Fast-forward to this movie. The final boss is (kind of) back: An incredibly powerful and zealous duelist has been possessed by the evil within the Millennium Ring and is trying to blanket the world in eternal darkness again. All the heroes have fallen. Kaiba is fucking *dead.* Yugi is on his last 200 LP, has no cards left to play, and is exhausted. The world seems doomed... Then, in a huge explosion of godly golden light, KING Atem Bigdikhamen casually breaks the Goddamn spacetime continuum and strolls the fuck in. He's got all his memories. He's lived his best life. He's a fucking Pharaoh - the human incarnation of the will of the ancient Egyptian pantheon. He's had a proper ancient Egyptian burial. He's not a lost spirit anymore - he's an *ascended* being. So, what does he do? Step up to the bad guy? Nope. Bakura 2.0 isn't even worth talking to. Atem just fucking STANDS there, heavenly orchestra blaring to herald his arrival, and he draws a single fucking card and slaps it down. No threat, no attack declaration, no acknowledgement whatsoever. He just godmodes his ace monster out and gives him the, "Hey man you wanna take care of this shit real quick?," look, and Mahad's like, "Sure thing, pal, I'll just throw every Goddamn constellation in the night sky at him, one sec.," and that's it. The ultimate evil fucking explodes into dust. Threat over, world saved in the space of 10 seconds. GG, no re. You know what the cherry on top is, though? Atem didn't _need_ to do it. Again, ascended being. All this earthly human shit is so utterly beneath him now that he doesn't even give a fuck anymore. Kaiba's newest bullshit technology is breaking the boundaries of life and death and present and future? Don't care lol, have fun Kaiba, there's no 'us' anymore, it's time to move on, go touch grass, etc. etc. etc.. But Atem still showed up HERE - just not to save the world. He only descended from heaven to psychically tell his little buddy Yugi how fucking proud he is of him, going toe-to-toe with interdimensional cubist demons because Yugi ain't going to stand for that shit anymore. This isn't little boy Yugi that gets his ass kicked in school and has archaeological relics stolen from him. He's a man now. Even scared and beat to Hell, Yugi stood his ground against what was, for him, a nigh-impossible foe. Yet, as soon as that golden light starts emanating from the Millennium Puzzle, Dark Diva starts shaking and pissing himself, because he was *zero* threat to Atem, to the point that he was barely even a thought. To us, Atem slayed the monster and saved humanity, yeah. But to the man himself? He just swatted a Goddamn gnat that was bothering his bro. Even Goku has never so absolutely, DISRESPECTFULLY outclassed a major villain. It's so ridiculous... and I'm so happy I got to see it.
Hmm, I think I know why the Pharaoh return, one the heart of the cards, two because his friends needed him
As cool as this is, it kinda shits on Yugi and Atems final duel. Because this shows that Yugi still can't handle things on his own and that he only beat Atem because he knew him so well...he's not on Atem's level as a duelist.
Atem took the Millennium Items so that the shadow game would never be played again and he and the souls of the past could rest in peace. Aigami and Kaiba crafted the only possible outcome to bring Atem back. Yugi didn't want this (even If he thought about it) This was not Yugis fight to begin with, it was Kaibas (because he wanted to bring Atem back). So Atem came to took the Puzzle with him this time, for good. Yugi was just a normal man without magic and had to fight a fight he could never win, so Atem helping him, was evening out the scales in my opinion.
Atem is like: get that noob out of my face.
I really don't know how to explain this but do anyone feel that the pharaoh isn't Atem, himself? I mean, feel like it is not him for some reason. His eyes, his presence.....its just feel like it is not him, at all.
The music 😭
Igneel Is the best father, why should he die? The author is cruel🥺😞
Best father. Nice joke he left his own child to die Ignia and adopted another natsu.
@@worldwideknowledge9631 I don't care about ignia, stupid, And another thing is that Ignia is not suitable to be Igneel's biological child
>Arrive late like a badass >Save the world with one move in a children’s card game >don’t say a single word >refuse to elaborate >leaves
It's for for kids I play it it's super fun you should give it a go 😊
I’ll always say this A Yugioh movie is nothing Without atem
HE DIDN'T COME BACK BECAUSE HE WAS SUMMONED BY THE MILENIUM PUZZLE, HE CAME BACK ONE LAST TIME BECAUSE HIS FRIEND WAS IN DANGER 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I like that Atem hesitated to destroy the Puzzle. Maybe some part of him wanted to stay and he didnt want to destroy the symbol of his bond with Yugi, but then he realized that his time in the living world was over, not to mention that if he came back, it would be an insult to their only duel, where they put everything on the line.
Hats off one of the best characters of animes rest in peace the fire dragon king! Igneel❤
I assume this must be a heavenly copyrighted scene. Aside from this one I can’t find this thing anywhere on CZcams.
Luke’s Return in The Last Jedi: Oh, he’s back. Yah… I guess. Atem’s Return in Dark Side of Dimensions: HELL YEAH!!!
This would be more akin to Luke's return in the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian.
Ok did you need that big ass yu-gi-oh logo infront
Yes Konami has been taking down this scene. I couldn’t find it anywhere
What we were all thinking when Aten appeared: 0:25
"I was barely in the new movie, but I still got paid more than Kaiba"
IT'S BULLCRAP!
I saw this in the theatre and everyone started cheering getting to see are old friend again
*Atem:* I was still paid more than Kaiba. *Kaiba:* This is Bull$&@t!
“Screw the rules, I have money!”
This world be better if it wasn't for the Blurring and that git yu gi oh on the scenes
THE PHAROAH HAS RETURNED!!
I grew up with both English and the original Japanese version, I was lucky to catch this in theaters before they took it and out, and I'm not afraid to say I cried when this scene played. I watched the English version and felt so much nostalgia for this scene. And today this scene still gives me goosebumps ❤❤❤
Atem, once again, proves just how much of a BAMF he is. God, this movie did the characters so much justice. And the localization is ACTUALLY UNCUT, while still being faithful to the people who grew up with the localization.
-makes the most epic entrance in history -saves the world in one move -refuses to elaborate further -laves

Love that music when the camera pulls back
With the choir, same !
The fact he can summon whoever he wants at will, is the greatest thing ever.
"I'm barely even in this movie and I didn't say shit but I still got paid more money than Kaiba." -LK Atem probably
“It’s bull crap!” - LK Kaiba
Ufff this whole scene is just perfect, from Atem literally materializing, how he does his draw of destiny by taking out the card he wants, to the jewel in the crown, which is Mahad kneeling in front of his pharaoh when he comes out of the card, just perfect from the start Anyway, especially since Atem didn't say a single word, he is the boss, nothing else to say here
As much as I love this scene. To me it kinda conflicts with the movie’s message. It’s a story about moving on and here comes Atem here to save the day.
@@krabman2889 Well notice that Yugi’s face flashes over Atem’s as he performs the Shining Draw. Atem isn’t piloting Yugi’s body like before, they were doing it together, one last time.
@krabman2889 Yugi did beat Aigami though on his own, the only reason atem returned is because Aigami was using the ring. The shadow games was always Atems destiny, not Yugis. So at this point it's Atems responsibility to act.
🥹🥰😱🫢🙀😺
This would of been a perfect moment to do a yugioh super our something bring back the original series
Japan wins in dialog and 99% when it comes to music, but this time the dub score wins
Same. This version brings tears every time
Couldn’t agree more.
Chills
RIP Kazuki Takahashi.
Man i'm glad i found you'r video!! even if it has the yu gi oh logo in the middle because you know how hard it is to find this scene without someone putting the original show theme over it
The one phrase that has forever shook the world of duel monsters and the word has been spoken for the pharaoh has return ... and that phrase is - look up - YUGIOH !!!!
I like to think since technically Yugi put in the last pieces to the Millennium Puzzle and solved it that he wished for Atem to come back right before he was about to disappear into the shadows and save everyone
Okay, I want hands: who yelled out Yugioh?
Me🤚
The ending at the end is so nicely detailed. Atem chose to stick around and see yugi, going out of his way to "summon" yugi, but yugi is the one who ends the moment with his nod. Is it possible that Atem missed yugi just as much, if not more than yugi missed him? Maybe moving on proved to be a little harder than expected and that's why Atem is still even watching over them in the first place. I also really love how the second ripple when he leaves is a triangle, and how yugi doesn't need to look up at all to see into atems eyes. He's a man now, not a boy. Thanks for uploading this, sucks you had to butcher it in order to avoid the lawyers, but I appreciate it none the less, at least the sound is all there.
Why does some of the different videos have a different soundtrack?
Probably to avoid copyright strikes
The Japanese version has a different theme than the English one
Different dubs?
Welcome home pharaoh
You simply don't mess with the Pharaoh (the King of games and the one who made little Yugi a true champion)
