I watched this initially with my parents who are both gone now. I really couldn't believe the amount of soul she was sharing in this and I remember saying "someone needs to give her a hug" and my mom who was a huge advocate for mental health said something so chilling to me that still like ugh. She said "shes asking for help in that performance.... She sounds like she has plans to kill herself.. she shouldn't be performing this.. she should be in a therapist office."

As a former addict I just see her sitting on the floor of her bedroom windows open curtains blowing in the breeze by the moonlight and just pouring her heart out literally in this song…and for all of us and I am speaking for many..really resonated with us! So please God I beg u don’t stop. I also understand losing my mom to lung cancer in 2018 how a song..a moment…can get u out of it! U helped so much with this song for my own recovery…I know I put in the work and nobody did it for me..but most of the time u go to AA and see ppl like u..depressed and stuck in their lives like a revolving door. This song is the first one in my 48 yrs now trips around the sun that I can actually do simply sweet get the message! It is absolutely beautiful. Pls keep sharing your voice and heart with us and we will give it back to u 10 fold! Lu!

I will never forget watching this performance live and having to walk out of the room to hide the fact that i was crying my eyes out i was just staring to get my life back after my battle with opioid addiction and when she sang this it just hit my heart soul being in a way i never felt a song do before ive always felt music but that was on another level that is the performance of a lifetime and i dont see many topping it in my life time it was so many pieces lining up and just coming together and apart all at the same time…and i thank her for that and sharing that moment with us because those moments only happen a handful of times in a life and make you feel alive !!!!! Btw im a 39 year old man and if u put this on in front of me ill either leave the room and cry or if im comfortable with you ill cry on the spot because even after time it still strikes a chord in my heart that yeahhhh yeahhhh woww just wowwwwww thank you demi i love u and ur the most beautiful woman ive ever laid eyes on in my opinion !!!!

It's a shame that I wasn't aware of Demi's powerful and pain-rich mezzo-soprano until she sang this song, which made me cry. I could feel her pain as if it were my own; what a performance and tragic song.
