We are getting closer got some water in her the biggest problem is the fuel pump it was fighting us the whole time and I still dont think I have fixed the problem yet completely but moving to the instrument cluster im very happy how it came out.

I’m changing the gauges to the RS model style and the fuel gauge got moved to the center of the dash

There is a cutout behind the wood sticker to add the gauges. The plug is there to plug it in. The dash for 5 speed and auto should be the same. Don’t forget to add the tach in the main cluster on the left. Great job boys!

I’ve always done it I’ve never had a problem
Look inside the exhaust manifold to make sure the hole is not obstructed. Sometimes the baffle inside collapses and blocks the exhaust hole.

@@dcrs51 What year is that car? You may have trouble smogging it with that Weber if it is 76 or later. Mines a 75 and it’s exempt. Just tell them it’s classic and over 40 years old.

Use a fuel lubricant, I see big Trucking companies using Lucus upper cylinder lubricant in large quantities. Makes me believe it is safe for the scr. I noticed it does smooth the acceleration sounds crazy bc these engines are very smooth to begin. The injection system is a big deal. Lubricating the pump and injectors is not a bad idea…
We bought a case of “all in one diesel” by Amsoil we put on in every so often we really like the Amsoil products using that diesel oil the truck doesn’t seem to be burning any oil! Good stuff

Not "only a heat shield." It keeps the intake manifold cooler, which can affect both the power and dirveabiliy of the engine. The rusted away flapper contolled the amount of exhaust sucked into the engine, and needs to be replaced. Honda didn't put things on, or make them bigger or more expensive than necessary. This car had economy above all else as a consideration.
The flap in the exhaust they have problems now that it’s older I felt it would be better to cut it out

When you take out the heads and put them back do you have to adjust the valves or when you take them out and put them back on they dont have to be readjusted?
I didn't end up pulling the head off I haven't adjusted the valves

The Honda in this video will be the build the other two are going to just sit for now but I do like to move around a little bit the falcon is something I drive often I’ll post upgrades, and maintenance on that, but is not a main build
