hi brian, thanks for the video! can you tell me the name of the company that helped you put all the documents together to submit to the state? thank you!!!
No problem. Activatemylicense.com
awesome, thanks!
Did bpc157 speed your recovery?
Absolutely
Great video man and congrats on passing all three test I’m currently taking my Business and finance tomorrow I signed up for the other two But the website keeps crashing and doesn’t load up the page that shows what books I can bring to project management and contract administration By any chance you wouldn’t happen to remember I also went to camtech so I have everything
To be honest, I can’t fully remember which books you’re not allowed to bring. But I believe there are two books that you can’t bring in one is the course book. I forget what the other one is but they will go through your books when you get there and let you know what you can’t bring in.
@@briandavis1798 oh ok cool cool What about those big binders you ever use those ?
Thanks for the conversation - hoping to get my GC License later this year. I am curious though - do you ever find yourself in positions that you wish you had your Electrician License or Plumbing license in addition? For the sake of doing your own labor if time and opportunity avails? Or do you think that building relationships with tradesman asap is actually more beneficial than saving the money on labor?
Yes, I build relationships with license tradesmen but it would be nice for small electrical projects not so much plumbing because I don’t really love doing plumbing, but there’s pros and cons to each doing it and also subbing it out
@@briandavis1798 that’s great to hear - I’ll double your sentiments towards the plumbing and leave that food on the table for someone else. Thanks for the advice.
OMG 🤯nice job getting the situation resolved quickly💪💯
Hey Brian How is going after you got your CGC license ??
It’s going great, but it’s a completely different business from my Handyman business. Everything changed it honestly feels like I’m running a whole business. But it’s great.
@briandavis1798 Thank you for your reply. im thinking of getting the GC license now
I used to spiral about hiv too…it was even scarier in early 90’s. You have no risk with what happened though.❤
Thank you ❤
Hi, do they let you take the accounting book? I guess what books can you take to the business and finance exam?
I cannot remember exactly which book is not allowed but I believe one is not. I think you’re counting book is allowed but the one that’s not is the course book. You’d have to double check that though.
No kidding: about 30% of the nurses in my local small town hospital can put an IV in properly. It's a skill - some are talented some hopeless.
What size is the bit?
It’s a specific bit for the type of anchor so the top of it’s got a fat part and then it has a skinny part underneath so that the deeper drills is skinnier so that the anchor can go in and then the screw can go all the way through the anchor and doesn’t hit the groundso it really depends on what size anchors you can get the bit for those size anchors
I don’t know if you answered this question already, but do you need to contact previous employers to verify your experience with the state? I live in Florida by the way.
What’s up, Jes! You actually do not need to verify your experience anymore. They changed that recently what you will do is you will sign an affidavit swearing that everything you are saying is true and they will honor that.
Did the board approve everything? Did you run into any other issues after submission of your application? Sent mine in last week just curious. Thanks
And how long did it end up taking after you submitted your application?
I think it took a few weeks and had to submit a few different projects to meet all the requirements but after that it was approved. Then you need to register with the respective counties you’ll work in.
Congratulations! Thanks for the feedback
Did you have to throw away your clothes or shower compulsively?
Even without a cut, and even without worrying about contracting a disease I would still be triggered just by the fact That it might be blood. Like I am with other substances that I come into contact with
Oh yeah, when it was at worse, everything read I believe was blood
HI. I'VE HAD PROTECTED SEX WITH MEN( NOT simultaneously) IN 2017. SINCE 2017 THERE IS NO SEXUAL ACTIVITY IN MY LIFE. BUT IN 2017 THERE WAS SEX WITH CONDOM. CAN I GET HIV IN 2024 AND NOT KNOW ABOUT IT? PLS HELP :(
Ive been a contractor and sometimes handyman for 10 years. This business sucks for many reasons and is good for many reasons too. You are definitely right about an income cap. There is no employees only other subcontractors. Anyone who has a worth in the trades charges for it and anyone cheaper is just starting out and hasn't found their way yet. I was pursuing my home inspection license and covid happened now its been at a stand still. What kind of jobs could or should a new general contractor take? By the way there are lots of renegade contractors doing unlicensed work IM sure that is a thing in Florida too. Handymen are not wiring new construction or plumbing in new condos, but lots of small jobs going on. I subscribed!!
I don’t believe you passed anything! The proctor literally gives you a paper with your score immediately after you pass or fail so you should know which test got what score. Also its CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION!
Weird bro but ok 👍
brother whats the update on ulnar nerve recovery?
Dude the ulnar nerves doing great! For a while, I was really babying it and I think just how weak that arm was made it continue to hurt for a while so I started to just push through it and start working out again once I built some strength in my bicep and my forearms I’m pretty much pain free. I stretch a lot but other than that good to go, I’m so glad I did it.
@@briandavis1798 thanks for the reply ! did u get ur grip strength back? im currenctly in college , i was the strongest here but for the past 1 year im dealing with this and the body which is worked for so hard is just back to starting point . trainning with my injured elbow got me into rotator cuff tear and now the whole left arm from shoulder to fingers hurt bad and theres no strngth ;(
Man brother I have severe health anxiety and OCD. I totally get this. Now days, I quickly turn to prayers and science right when these thoughts occur. Dont give these thoughts weight!
Amen brother. Keep up the good fight!!!
Your powering through so much in life and breaking barriers most people dream of God bless you brother
I’m re-watching this video and I can’t believe I did not give more credit to God. The only way I’m literally getting through. This is by laying down my sword every day and letting him fight this battle for me.
i take the exam in 2 weeks, been studying everyday for at least 4 hours a day , for the last 3 months. hopefully i pass first try.
Sounds like you’re super ready
Thank you i'm trying to figure out how to secure a shed to pavers and I think this will work the individual papers of 54 pounds and if the shed sit on 16 of them I was planning on attaching it to all 16 with a l bracket on the inside and the outside Thank you honest to God
Hi Brian! How are you doing today ? Are you able to work and excercise? and what have you noticed since you had the OP that would either make you happy or regret that you did or didn't get the surgery?
I’m doing great I can absolutely work out and work. I make sure I do my stretches to keep those muscles nice and loose. If I worked out really hard, they can get tight but nothing crazy I do massage and stretching for the most part. So happy that I did the surgery I regret nothing.
thanks for sharing. also been going through similar things with my OCD. feels nice to know that I'm not the only one that's affected by it.
Not at all my friend. We are all out here fighting just like you. Keep it up bro!
Getting mine in 13 days
Let’s go, bro! It’s a little bit of a slow recovery, so don’t get down on yourself. If those nerves take a while to calm down
Also getting another procedure on the same arm
Everybody has at least a little fear when it comes to this
Yes, sir, but we do it anyway!
@@briandavis1798 amen brotha keep crushing it
oh please this is so offensive to people actually living and struggling with HIV; educate yourself before posting such nonsense
For posting nonsense? Read the rest of the comments this has nothing to do with being offensive to people who have to live with that. This is about obsessive compulsive disorder, and other struggles other people go through don’t be so self-centered.
I like your content. Can you do a video in Bitcoin?
I am having ulnar transposition surgery with a nerve wrap to protect the nerve moving forward. I had transposition surgery 15 years ago and never had an issue until I received a hard blow to elbow.. going on 9 months.. therapy etc.. having a specialist perform this with the nerve wrap for extra security.
Wish you the best and a speedy recovery.
Yup I agree 💯
Hey Brian. If you're on antibiotics, please make sure you take care of your gut probiotics. Optimise your diet and prevent any surface water loss of your skin. Cherish the love and support of your wife and kids. You can overcome this. Once this is managed, do lay out a prevention strategy. Prevention helps a lot.
Absolutely thank you!!
Great video
Thank you
You look good. I pray the worst is over. Take care!
Thank you it was an incredibly difficult situation. I’m praying it’s only up from here as well. I believe!
For what have you used that?
I should have never used it the doctor was careless who prescribed it. But for itchy skin and some dermatitis spots
@@briandavis1798 damn

Where did u buy it? Whats is the brand ? Thank you
I have a home remodel business in Texas, about 30 years now. I went to a Dermatologist who is also a great client. He said it was dermatitis. It was on my legs then, now on my back an fingers a year later. I’ve been using the steroid creams he prescribed, but condition seems to wander and doesn’t really get any better. Im tossing those creams and will try to find a better way. Thank you for the inspiration. God bless you and your family amigo!
Brother!!! Same situation. A small itchy spot the dr gave me steroids it would go away then come back in a totally new spot went on like that for a year before I realized it was something with the cream. Now going through the withdrawal. It’s tough but worth it they are poisoning your skin. Tough it out brother let it pass and when calms down find a better way. Reach out if you need support.
Thanks man.
Stay strong brother 💪
Will do brother. Thanks for holding down the fort this week!!!
and dont you need to be an apprentice for 4 years fulltime with a construction company in order to apply for the GC license?
Not if you have a 4 year degree. Then you only need 1 years in a supervisor position. Without the degree you need 4 years
@@briandavis1798 are you a GC? How can a 4 year degree at a college in non construction related classes be equal to 3 years of apprencticeship in the trades? Also I would like to see you do a video on Florida Statute 489.103 which is the handyman exemption statute. It would be interesting to get your insight on this. Thanks and I love your channel and how you keep it real.
you cant do electrical but you can do up to 2500 worth of non electrical contracting according to state statute. There is a handman exception in the statute. What about that Brian? Are you familiar with that statute?
There are so many different versions of what’s legal and what’s not legal for a handyman but what I found is no plumbing no electrical no HVAC no structural work and technically yes no work over 2500 makes it extremely limiting
Hang tough. God’s blessings on ya;)
Thank you
I love you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Not exactly sure how to respond to this, but I appreciate the support during this difficult time
Not sure which topical steroid you're using man. But if it's a steroid cream, then fortify your system through other means during withdrawal. A good diet that helps your fillagrin system and avoiding TEWL transepidermal water loss- making sure that you protect the skin barrier. Good luck.
Thank you I’m in for a fight but I won’t give up and I’ll bring awareness to these dangerous creams
I’m so sorry you are dealing with this, I feel your pain. I can’t do any kind of steroids, at all. When I take them orally or injection I end up with psych issues for several weeks. It’s now listed in my Allergies: NO STEROIDS IN ANY FORM Absolute insanity that so many medications do more harm than good.
Hey Brian! Great video keep pushing content. I am studying for my Business and Finance exam. How long would you take to study for this exam? 2.5 weeks?
Thank you. I really love creating content. I didn’t put a time limit, but I was able to study for about two weeks. Yes I studied for two hours a day until I could take the practice exam and get it 80% lowest then I knew I was ready.
I used bpc 157 for a shoulder rotator cuff tear and chronic tennis elbow. Within a week my shoulder felt better. Three weeks in and my shoulder feels as good as 30yrs ago. It's been amazing! Now my elbow was even more dramatic. Did a 15 unit injection into the area, and the next morning was literally pain free. Totally. Going to switch to an oral now for regular maintenance. Clear up some skin excema also. Crazy stuff.
Amazing brother glad to hear about your recovery. I’ve been taking it orally now for probably two years. I love it.
Which brand you use?
Thanks for sharing Brother. It takes effort and openness to put it out there.
Of course man this is brutal but I feel grateful mine is not as bad as some people using creams 10+ years.
