Another 'no nonsense' baller.
If he played in this era.....sheesh
I was a huge Dr. J/Sixers fan back in the day, but my lord, Magic and the Lakers' fast break was a beautiful thing to behold!
His swooping strides were huge.
"I'm bout pass on his body I'm john stockton"
70's Kareem was a beast. 80's version was still tough but not as agile, just smarter n knowing he didnt have 2 carry a team any more since he had better quality help w/ Magic & Co. His supporting cast when he got to the Lakers was weak.
One of my all time favorite players. If I was an NBA and he was available, I would draft and keep him on the team. Plus when his playing days were over, he would continue to be part of the organization. May he RIP and gone too soon.
This man dribbles like a 8 year old kid . And he can’t shoot 3s to save his life. Wemby would kill this man
This man has handles like a 3rd grader and he can’t shoot 3s to save his life . Wemby would kill this scrub
I’m here doing my research after I just Drafted him on 2k in the 1960 draft 😊
If I could choose I would not be MJ, Lebron or whoever else but Barkley. He was great and he was fun.
Super clutch perpetual motion and a great defensive player but a better person
Invented splitting the pick and roll
Solid edit came in with a legend BIGL
all-time underrated team C Artis Gilmore PF Pau Gasol SF Paul Arizin SG Manu Ginobili PG Chauncy Billups
Here cuz Bubba Dub
I remember as a kid, half watching a college game on TV. It was either ‘78 or ‘79. Anyway, ‘this guy’ kept on throwing up the most amazing shots… Watched again, a week, or so, later - same unbelievable performance! It was at that moment, I said, “Who is this guy!” From that point on, I paid full attention!! Larry Legend!
That is athletically peak Charles. A monster. And his passing skill and ball handling is under rated. He was small so in his early years he was a guard. He can be a "Power Guard" 😂
Imagine being the third best player in the league as soon as you’re drafted. That’s wild
Him or D-wight Howard
When you look up the definition of point guard in the dictionary, John Stockton's name is there lol. Was there ever a more prolific passer in the NBA than John Stockton? I cannot think of one.
Shoulda left it in 4:3
I about always did so after I made this mixtape, tbf. this isn't my norm at all
@@Crunchysopa52I mean it does add to how W I D E he looks 😂
@@4g63t8 I guess so lol!
YEAHHH NOTHING WE SEE TODAY IMPRESSED US ☝🏾🗣💯
I love Larry bird he had nothing on j havlicek
I've never seen a better point guard than John Stockton.
It seems very simple and easy but it is impossible to play like him. Nobody cannot do it except him.
I LOVE Selena Quintanilla siempre te amaremos y recordaremos ❤❤❤
GREAT music to tribute one of the first true power forwards in Pro basketball history. Mr. Marquette Warrior Maurice Lucas !!!!!!!!! R.I.P. M.L.
thank you & indeed RIP to M.L.
Vick said he felt like retiring after that hit.
Quien es este md Selena es lo mejor del mundo no como está m....
Track ID please?
Wes was here👊🏀💥🏀👊
3:07 5:00
He got 71 points in the 90s. That's WAY more impressive than 70 points nowadays. Teams averaged like 95 a game back then, they average around 115 now. And don't forget his quadruple double. Just the fifth in NBA history and the most recent one. Probably the most slept on player of all time
I consider Isiah the true HBK of the NBA. Most would say Mike, but Mike was a bigger guy. Isiah was one of the smaller guys that could do everything. I’d say either him or A.I. are the Heartbreak Kid of Basketball, period🫡🔥💔💙🥶
He almost look like Denzel Washington lol
I'm finna pass on this body, I'm John Stockton IYKYK
90's ball was just amazing
28:51 well... until LeBron
lol always showign game laker won youtube scum
mchael might be best shooter ever, only darryl barkley mullin dantley come close

Where was Magic?
He caused us a super bowl game!!!
Nobody was as exciting as Magic, not even Jordan! (But that’s just me).
Updated ABA Triple-Double Leaderboards: Regular Season Only: 1. George McGinnis: 9 triple-doubles, all in 1974-75 T2. Julius Erving: 7 triple-doubles T2. Billy Cunningham: 7 triple-doubles, all in 1972-73 3. Artis Gilmore: 6 triple-doubles T4. Roger Brown: 5 triple-doubles T4. Connie Hawkins: 5 triple-doubles T5. Gerald Govan: 4 triple-doubles T5. Warren Jabali: 4 triple-doubles Regular Season + Playoffs: 1. George McGinnis: 14 triple-doubles (including 5 in the playoffs) 2. Julius Erving: 8 triple-doubles (including one in the 1972 playoffs) T3. Artis Gilmore: 7 triple-doubles (including one in the 1973 playoffs) T3. Billy Cunningham: 7 triple-doubles (all in the 1972-73 regular season) 4. Roger Brown: 6 triple-doubles (including one in the 1968 playoffs) 5. Connie Hawkins: 5 triple-doubles (all in the regular season) T6. Gerald Govan: 4 triple-doubles (all in the regular season) T6. Warren Jabali: 4 triple-doubles (all in the regular season) Playoffs Only: 1. George McGinnis: 5 playoff triple-doubles (4 of them in historic 1975 playoff run alone!) T2. Artis Gilmore: 1 playoff triple-double (G3 of 1973 ABA Finals vs. Pacers) T2. Julius Erving: 1 playoff triple-double (G1 of 1972 East Finals vs. Nets) T2. Larry Jones: 1 playoff triple-double (G1 of 1970 West Finals vs. L.A. Stars) T2. Louie Dampier: 1 playoff triple-double (G3 of 1969 East Semis vs. Pacers) T2. Roger Brown: 1 playoff triple-double (G3 of 1968 East Semis vs. Pipers) The late, great, George McGinnis is the runaway leader in all three leaderboards, and what makes it even more impressive is that he basically accomplished all of this in just one season, since 13 out of his 14 ABA triple-doubles were in 1974-75 (including 4 in his Herculean 1975 ABA playoff run). His other triple-double was in G5 of the 1974 West Finals vs. the Utah Stars. He has as many playoff triple-doubles as everyone else combined, and no other player had more than one. Note: There are probably a few triple-doubles from the ABA's early seasons that have not yet been discovered, due to the lack of assist information from the time. However, I believe I have found over 90% of all ABA triple-doubles. There are currently 95 verified ABA triple-doubles (excluding a few unofficial and questionable ones). I have all of this information in a spreadsheet (link below). I will update this post if I find anything in the future that changes these leaderboards. Note 2: I do believe that Artis Gilmore has a few undocumented PTS/REB/BLK triple-doubles from his 1971-72 rookie season, in which he averaged 5.0 blocks per game (and blocked 422 shots in total), but we sadly may never know due to incomplete records. There were only two such instances that I could find from 1971-72, and one of them is questionable because one source reported that Gilmore had 10 blocks while another claimed that he had 7 blocks. I did not include this questionable triple-double in the leaderboards, to be safe. Every Known ABA Triple-Double: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/158GTI-GmwAzhs16SdpgXwuMUfCw550PLBwoMDNUznUI/edit
