If Sandra’s strategy were truly “as long as it ain’t me” then she would’ve voted for Rupert here. Instead, she flipped the whole vote on its head. Fairplay and Trish trusted Sandra socially enough to tell her their plan to blindside Rupert. Sandra decided it was best to leak the information to her allies. Therefore Sandra, Rupert, and Christa that they needed to vote Trish and pull in Sean. This is the kind of active strategy we usually see from winners. But with Sandra in Pearl Islands, people often overlook her moves and she herself usually downplays them and makes it sound as if she was totally passive and villainous. She’s not. Most of the season she was a smart ally and made wise moves. Even the way this clip is edited makes it seem like it’s Rupert’s strategy, when he wasn’t even in on the plan until midway.

Just a little context in defense of Michelle. I’ve recently heard a rumor that Michelle allegedly said in a post game interview the reason she didn’t go through with her plan (of faking her disgust to throw off the other tribe into picking her for the tie breaker) was because the drink was way more gross than she was expecting. As a result she felt if she went through with her strategy of faking her disgust that she actually would have puked. This kind of makes sense. because you may remember that when she was trying to talk to Rupert after this challenge, she did actually get sick.

Gosh imagine if someone was a Jehovah’s Witness? They probably wouldn’t be able to do this challenge.

Why they never didn't brought this challange again. It's cheap for production, entertainining for audience and not difficult to understand for the contestants. It would be so much refreshing watching this instead of obstacle courses with puzzles and endurance challanges.
