“Simple” storage area hoist

I mounted a harbor freight hoist on the ceiling in my shed so I could access the second floor storage. Here is the way I did it to minimize the install effort given that I would not expect to use it very often.
BMW S1000RR Valve check

My BMW has 13,000 miles and I just wanted to check the valves. This just really shows what’s involved, more than being a step by step.
NYST Following Brian - crash
zhlédnutí 93Před 3 lety
First I was running the approximate line for 2 buddies on the blue BMW's to follow me. Then I let them go through and follow/lead until the crash. I am following one of my friends and another rider heading up wheelie hill and the rider in front slows considerably over the hill and alters line to the right. My friend brakes, and I come over hill with pace and there they are, "not moving" I hit b...

Originally thought you were leaning more than required (suggested you push bike up). Looking at it again, it actually the "diving" for apexs a few times that concerns me most - when you are trying to get where you wish you were on the track. Don't change line abruptly ever, and no need to get back on the apex once you've missed it, or especially when leaned over.

I misspoke at one point when I said something about hooking the brown to the signals, what I really meant was to the running lights. So the brown positive feed from the van is hooked to the lights with the power running through a resistor. With this brand led, the brown running light wire runs to the black wire on each light, which is the LED running light. The two issues solved include dimming the running lights, so you can see the brake or signal light, as well as the reverb I was getting in the opposing signal light.
Thanks for the vid
I wouldn’t lift over 100-200 lbs with the table. I don’t store heavy stuff there. The carabiner is cross-loaded, but it’s a rated carabiner so given a small load I’m not concerned. Your own judgement must prevail
I used feeler gauges that were thin at the top and just bent them in a vise to a 45 angle
