Ok I need help i have 05 auto and just did a 07 manual swap everything is good on that the only problem I’m have is that the c110 is rectangular and the 05 is squared and don’t if I just splice the wires and put the same colors

Starting an 2005 Base Automatic project. Which Gen Coyote will fit?
@@ball1974 I’d suggest using a gen ECU. This can be accomplished by obviously using a gen one or your can put gen one timing components in a gen two to run a gen one ECU. Gen ECU is the most compatible with the 05-10 body electronics. Can get fancy with a 3-2-1 setup as well
@@MattSoppa Any reputable recommendations on where to purchase Gen One? What type of transmission? Trying to stay automatic since I want to keep it as a daily for now. I'm assuming the 3-2-1 set up is available on your site. Thanks again! You're the first response from the many inquiries.
@@ball1974 for used I’d get a complete pull out with trans from an 11-14 Mustang GT. Either from a yard or eBay so there’s a sort of warranty. The 3-2-1 setup is a gen 3 short block gen 2 heads and gen one timing components. Not something I sell, but do have a crank sensor adapter for that. Feel free to email me at matt.makeitmodular@gmail.com
@@MattSoppa I appreciate this information. I'll definitely reach out if I hit a snag. Thanks again!!
Swap mine as a project lol
We did this on our Boss 302 tribute which was a base 2006. Once you space the calipers to center them on the rotors. You’ll probably need just need some wheel spacers.
@@ovalsports4467 if the wheel fitment to the body wasn’t perfect I would add spacers
You can use the brake lines that came with the bigger brakes they’ll match up with the tread on the solid lines
I did this a couple years on my S197. I found all the guidance on a forum. Got braided hoses to go along with everything the same as what you did. You do have to get different brake lines. I can provide part numbers if anyone needs them. It looks awesome and felt great with stopping. I didnt get new wheels until after everything was done on the whole car.
@@brianneal9204 yeah part numbers would be great! Thank you

WOOOHOOOOO🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
These cars are horrible with big brakes and wheels. I’m running s550 EcoBoost Performance Package wheels on my 05 s197. Those wheels will clear the massive 6 piston calipers on a s550 with ease, but they won’t clear 07 GT500 Brembo calipers. Pretty sure it’s only because of the “offset” of the calipers. S550 calipers are more tucked inside, where the s197 calipers are positioned as far out as possible. I’m currently running 10mm spacers to clear the calipers, longer studs and open lug nuts. Pretty happy with the set up currently, and the brakes are amazing!💪🏼
@@DutchStangs_Garage Right on 👍🏼 I think the issue after doing the post editing was the custom wheel didn’t have much of a “hub “ despite being a -24mm offset which is done with putting the face of the wheel in the barrel where it needs to be to achieve that but then like you said, the caliper sticks out further than the rotors hub
I did this to my mustang a couple of years ago, and it was definitely worth it.
