Bringing Sexy Back

I decided to take ProtoForm's modern Camaro body and put sexy back into it. Ive seen this body painted in lots of ways, but not like this. And back in the day the Trans Am was one of the sexiest cars on the road. Well this modern day version really fits. It was a joy to paint and one of my favorites.

Been a while since I've painted a full scale body, realized i needed a few more 190mm for my Sakura. I really love this car, its smooth and agile. and with the 3.5 turn Tekin motor it gets down the road. Here are the 3 i painted and they show in the order i painted them. The mustang as a slight flaw due to me having red paint on my finger which bled into the white, but its minor.

Set up the Atomic BZ with a EACHINE TX03 AIO camera and my EACHINE VR D2 goggles and did some FPV driving around the house, was too hot this day to get out so i had some RC fun indoors. Its pretty cool being right there in the drivers seat and not..LOL

Finished IDT, this was a worrisome build to say the least, I'm glad its built, not getting the body in and finishing it. If someone would i recommend this RC, my answer would be "no" the instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired, the parts while better than the Kyosho's are not as good as the BZ or the GLA. Ive yet to see how they all preform on the RCP Tracks, and as soon as the rains here...

Here is the final edition to my Mini Z lineup. As of this video I'm awaiting parts that were missing from the kit. it still seems to be a solid kit but will see once the build and testing is finished.
RCP Track set up, test and tune

Just a small track set up to test and tune the cars, The BZ needed more tuning and changes made to the ESC, I Had a motor wire come loose on the GLA, didn't really get to test these two, they will be next. the Kyoshos did well until one of the ESC wires came loose on the Brushless AWD. all in all it was a good day

If you search for make up case on Amazon there's a couple options just like this one for the most part. They are in the $50 usd range.

@@ggjflyguy Nice! I just bought me and my wife a pair, and I bought the mini 96, the extension, and a timing course! :D I'm up near Denton, and I know lonestar is getting the mini zs going, do you know of other places that race them?
@@promess not right now, i am working on a deal with RCCA in Ridgemar mall over in FT Worth to be able to set a track up there and have practice and races

@@EDCtexan no we were never able to come to an agreement. They wanted to rent me space there and it just was not feasible for me at the time

Yes but i upgraded the servo to their metal gear one.i actually stripped the stock one that came with the car, i also have the metal servo horn
I think your front tires are on backwards. I have those tires and they preform much better the other way around especially in the rain. Good setup man

This looks awesome. What is the battery life on these cars.
depends on which batteries, I'm using peak 900 and i get about 20 to 30 min run time. at practice speeds, at race speeds 15 to 20 minutes. I've sold most of the Kyosho's off and a, running my atomic bz, my GL racing GLA, my x-power IDT and MTS all on LiPo batteries and get consistent 30 min run times

Matthew Torres No I didn’t, I actually sold it on. But there was a guy on eBay that was selling a speed run setup for this car. It contained a new motor mount and gears
