If your check engine light comes on with a code P0401 EGR insufficient flow you most likely have clogged EGR ports in the throttle body and just needs a little cleaning up with brake cleaner to do the trick. If you look up door latch cable repair kit for the year make and model you should be able to find them possibly at auto parts store ebay or Amazon
I’ve been doing this for 16 years I’ve got to say this is the slowest I’ve ever seen it done you guys must’ve put a whole bunch of retarder in the mix to slow it down I can tell you put something in it from the other room is all spotty some spots, wet some spots hard but what do I know I’m just a plasterer 🤷🏻♂️
Well thanks for checking the video out. We do put retarder in the mix. I’m not trying to kill myself to speed through it before the mix sets. As long as the product looks good when finished that’s what matters. And as long as you make the money doing it. But what do I know. I’m just a plasterer too 😜

Where did you get your bristle brush at What store?
Usually you can find them at most paint stores or you can find them online as well. You will want a flat bristle brush where the bristles are flattened. They have other brushes that don’t have the flattened bristles. You won’t get the same texture.

One question, can the work be sanded when it dries? or not?
It can be sanded a little but not much. You can sand fine ridges down if needed but it won’t sand like drywall.

Dodge needs beaten to death for EVER thinking putting this battery here was a good idea. Seriously, the hood has tons of room especially on a 2.4 and they jam the battery in a fender well

We use it instead of a skim coat level 5. It can be rolled on with a really fine nap roller but for best finish it’s definitely better to spray it on
@@ErnestPreas could a novice spray it on? If you were me would you pay the $400 or so to get a sprayer or just roll it on? 1/4 inch nap?
In background OBD reader says downstream and upstream hose disconnected. They are not disconnected. No code or check engine light. Hoses are new and nothing is clogged up. Engine may want to stall at idle.

We are adding sand to the leftover mud on the table to block in seams for areas we will plaster on the next mix. The sand makes the block in stronger to keep the seams from cracking
Can someone on here please help me I'm watching you guys pull mud off that table for 30 minutes straight and it never changes consistency. But yet I've tried to make mud 1,000 times and five minutes later it's half hard and 10 minutes later it's junk. wtf
We use a retarder agent which extends the set time. Usually with plaster especially diamond interior finish plaster you should get a working time of around 30-40 min possible. When mixing a 6-8 bag mix or even just a couple bags we will add retarder to the water before mixing and stir it up with the drill before adding the plaster. Depending on the amount of retarder you add will determine how long your working time will be. However you do have to be careful because too much retarder and it will take too long to set and you will get spider cracks in the plaster we call check cracking. If it’s minimal you can spritz it with water to close up the cracks but in severe cases it could crack off the wall. Also any type of air flow can cause this as well. With plaster you don’t want it to dry out but set up before t dries. Opposite of drywall which dries out versus setting
What kind of plaster are you using? If Diamond or Uni Kal the setting time is aorox 45 -60 minutes. Old plaster bags (sitting in warehouse too long ) will "set up" much quicker. Sometimes even "hard" well water (high mineral content ) willmess with setting times. Excessive mixing will also cause quick "set times"

So I installed a oil catch can, always have a CEL due to what I thought being straight pipes no cats. My EGR looked to have metal lines only but about 2 inches to the sensor was little rubber lines to plug sensor into and one was completely not connected. I am driving a 2002 f150 4.6 XL

Tex master tools is the brand stomp brush. You can google the name it should pop up. You want the flattened round brush. Looks like amazon may have some as well as all-wall.com
What do you do about the bolts with blue loctite on them without stripping the heads on them?
Did you know disconnecting the kick panel inerta switch or even reliving left over fuel in the rails from the scroeder valve is totally S T U P I D ? When that engine is shut off the fuel pressure valve that is controlled by vacuum releases any pressure in those fuewl rails and any fuel in that filter goes back to the tank. I have changed many of those on your 97 to 04 f150s
I started getting that Code after SeaFoam shocking my 99 F150... the shock worked for Bank Lean code, and Manufacturer Control... I'm on my next fill up... So It maybe needed to burn off.
Very nice video. Doing a orange peal ceiling would the mixing consistency be thin as in the video or a little thicker?
With orange feel you’ll want your mud looser or “soupier” than with knockdown. I find the finest orange peel is the best looking and the heavier you go it just looks like splatter. You’ll want a pretty loose consistency with your mud (so that it pours pretty easy but you don’t want paint consistency, that’s too loose) and high pressure with your hopper. I would recommend doing a few test patterns on some plastic or cardboard or something to tweak your air flow the way you want it before you start spraying the ceiling
