I have tried to read about this incredible feet on the internet and its coverage is severely limited. This is so incredibly amazing I don't understand why it's not National and international news big time. This is one of the greatest feats of endurance I have ever seen swimming in water that cold for that long in these conditions! ASTOUNDING! (And at the same time perplexing from a news coverage standpoint)

i dont know how its possible. i read that the temps were in the 50s and high 40s... i was expecting a wet suit... i also read that it was 17 hours...

I just read about your story Amy, what an accomplishment! Congratulations! To be doing this after a quick nap from a long shift in a hospital is so amazing! One of the many reasons I haven't even thought of swimming because of the stigma of the already perfect bodies out their in Aquatic Cove or growing up in Florida with all the swimmers in perfect physiques. But I see someone with my similar body type and I'm like maybe I could at least start something! Thank you 🎉🎉

Nice work! I did the same swim in 2011. Took me just over 13 hours. How long was yours? So cool seeing the same scenery all over again. Once of the most amazing experiences of my life.
