If anyone is the badguy. . . Welll, it depends entirely on exactly how you determine what makes someone the badguy or not. Lol But, for this particular episode, it was definitely Armand .. for being a lying liar who lies and literally fudges up your mind. Louis didn't really do anything that we didn't already learn way back in ep1 of s1 that Louis had done-we already knew he'd bitten Daniel during the first interview. But Armand, allegedly, wasn't even there; yet, surprise surprise, he actually was....neither Daniel nor Louis had really remembered anything except what Armand had wanted them to remember, before this episode. It calls into question literally anything and everything that Armand has ever said about anything, even as Armand, not only when he was pretending at being a human servant. I guess you could say they all take turns competing to see who is more or less of the badguy in any given moment, but really they're all just inhuman monsters through and through with little kernels of what once was human left in them, tragically.😊😅😅 😁 That's why it's in or adjacent to the horror genre, probably.

In the first scene they were both selfish and unfair. Lestat, for getting angry with Louis for having sex with someone else when he was doing the same thing and on top of that he told him it was ok. Louis, for getting angry with Lestat for taking his life. When Lestat gave him a choice and that's what he chose. They're two selfish, whining, sexy little boys who need to grow up.
