You can "cut" on the Sadowsky by reducing the volume, and then boost the frequency you don't want cut. For example, to cut treble, reduce the volume and then boost the bass. They all sound good, but I prefer the simplicity of the MXR and Sadowsky.

Question: Did you have any trouble getting past customs when you got back to the Philippines with that new guitar? I heard stuff like you had to remove the guitar from the box to not have any troubles.

Let's see, on the one hand the usefulness of a DI is clear, either to not carry an amplifier or to back it up in the event that it breaks down during transport or performance. What I am not so clear about and let's see if you can give us your opinion, is whether a preamp like this (or other similar ones on the market) is worth it if we use heads or combos with a valve preamp (in my case Bugera Veyron T and Hughes & Kettner Quantum Q310, I'm not telling you who has a Mesa or really high-end gadgets). Is a pedal preamp worth it in that case? I'm very confused about it.
