I know this is an old video but is it ok for the non turbo Impreza to have the hood with the scoop on it? Are there any issues with debris or rain/ water getting in engine? I have an 07 Impreza non turbo that I’m going to paint and would like to replace the hood.

Looks like it needs an engine rebuild via how bad it's smoking.

just bought a scooby 1998 v4, anything i should know? engine is mint, 122k miles, no ticking nor knocking noises, fuel pump seems to have issues when low on fuel (below a quarter) and would randomly cut out while driving (engine turns straight off)

I had an R32 GTR with Veilside all the way through; plus a lot of other stuff. Sounded amazing! Went like a bat out of hell too. Good video, thanks guys

Hang on mate. How did the NA develop a knock? The whole point of going NA in subaru is to avoid any possible knock. Are EJ series just shit engines in general? FA series of engines must be much better since it was partly made by Toyota.
