Which is better in your opinion

Soloist probably has an edge in terms of speed just due to frame stiffness but ya, you're right. For us mere mortals, probably doesn't make much real world difference.

Great video - although my anxiety was peaking on potential paint scratches from leaning both bikes against the brick wall

had a caledonia for a few weeks as my "foul weather" or emergency use backup bike. frame rode like a wet noodle tho! ultra smooth and comfy but insanely flex and sluggish. wanted to get a soloist frameset to build but they were all out of stock for a full year and now it doesnt make sense to get one since it will be a new model in 3-5mo...ohyeah and the caledonia was sooo big, deff size down if you ride a cannondale pinarello or trek. had a 58 but shoulda had a 56 for absolutely sure.

I can’t get a identical setup, as the front stack is about 30cm lower . It is significant for my lack of flexibility unfortunately.

I still think the Soloist is the bike to buy if you only have one bike, or if you only have one Cervelo. It basically makes the S5 / R5 convo obsolete. You can build up a Soloist frame any way you want to. Value prop in this bike is off the charts. Also, just an FYI, the Shimano Di2 battery lasts for months in-between charges, and that's with riding the bike several times per week. Just something to point out. I'm jealous that you have both!

You can fit the bell on the curve of the bar jut under the brake and can be operated with thumb and cannot be noticed

What bars are you running on that Soloist?

My gear grove light is flush on the bar. Double check your install. Both mount bolts too
