I was just looking at mine the other day. I really need to start it. What motor, prop and esc combo did you go with?

@@ChunkyC_RC I have a great running os65AX I have a homemade engine running stand that run and tune engines on works great then after I had it idling and running good I mounted it to the plane I have a 12x6 on it I used to have a 4 star 60 in 90s with that size prop plane was amazing I’m getting my old 4 star 40 ready for Saturday morning to practice on and to get back into the groove of the 4 stars

If the CG is correct then make sure all flight controls are neutral. Never assume the factory got it right. If the flight controls are neutral then it could be an incidence issue, but it being a foam molded plane, there's not much you can do about that except to trim it for neutral. Fly the plane and trim at around 75% throttle (or what % you normally fly it). When you land, take a look at the position of the elevator and re-center the trims. Disconnect the ball link from the elevator control horn and adjust the ball link until the elevator is in the approximate position that it was in when it was trimmed. Continue flying, trimming, and adjusting until it flies level when all trims are neutral. It may take a few flights to get it right, but hey, you were planning on flying it anyway. Do this on all surfaces, aileron, elevator, and rudder. All planes fly a little different. I do recall my Commander having a tendency to pitch up. I just trimmed and left it. Also, if you trim step in your radio is set to "fine" then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Hope this helps...

The only DX transmitter I have is a DXe that came with an RTF. I have never tried it, but maybe I should. If you have a DX transmitter and a few receivers then give it a try on the workbench. If I was to bet, I would bet it will work.

No, you can't. Even though they are both 2.4 GHz and the same protocols, they are slightly different in frequency. Pretty much all manufacturers have been doing this since the days of 72 MHz to prevent someone with a surface radio from shooting down a plane. That's why the manufactures such as Futaba and Spektrum sell separate air and surface systems. Thanx for the question 👍

Some wires with silicone jackets need more work and heat to get them to stay twisted.

Since I just started the build, I haven't selected my batteries yet. I'll probably stick with an approximate 2200MAh battery...maybe a little larger. A lot of heli guys like the Pulse batteries. Thanx for the question.

What's a VTX? If your drone has a carbon fiber frame, make sure antenna ends are as far away from frame as possible.

@@ChunkyC_RC I heard it's because when my TX is disarmed my VTX automatically set's it's power lower is that possible?

Have you range checked when you got the low signal? Maybe it sees the telemetry signal as rssi and thinks it's low. I don't know much about drones and video transmitters.

Have you taken the back off the transmitter lately? If so, make sure you didn't accidentally unplug or wiggle antenna wire loose from its connection point.

Keep in mind that this usually helps minor glitching and minor signal issues. If you are having full blown brown outs you probably have another issue.

It's a fact that antennas don't play well with fiberglass and carbon fiber.

That heli is so tiny, I couldn't imagine it in a 15-20 mph wind. That little thing would be all over the place. Thanks for the comment Chris. I hope your well.

@@ChunkyC_RC It was one of the lead Engineers, he also took huge chunk of the engineering staff with him to start Goosky. That's why they are so close in design. The design improvements from the Goosky vs the OMP M1 and M2 are mainly to absorb and cheapen crashes better. The GooSky factory tour is a really nice clean looking environment.

Sounds interesting but I'm having a hard time visualizating what your describing. If supporting the connector and servo ends is what you want to do, maybe try some 3m epoxy to stiffen the area around the plug and servo.
