Fan of midland red, built some best design feature, rear doors on D7/9,plus ahead time was D10 undeŕfloor engine double decker, enjoying ride at transport musuem in birmingham, as seen in this clip, worth visiting if like old vehicles ,,make for great day out😅

Part of my daily commute from Chepstow mid 70s. Managed to get "all four off" going over the bridge over the Usk in my ford escort van on a few occasions. Take off speed minimum 80.

How cool to have zero mission buses 🚌 😎 😀 It looks narrower / thinner inside . I wonder if they are & that's because it's all electrical ...I believe the battery is very heavy ? So that it has to be smaller ( narrower ) to make the weight lighter to run on freeways,bridges so on ? I might be thinking too deep here ! Lol. I did ride on this bus last summer in Newport. I was surprised to see many passengers showed respects & thanked the drivers as they disembarked. I have always been doing so since I was a kid ( in Tokyo ,Japan ) ! But,never seen others doing it there ,then, here in Los Angeles, either . I could be wrong about Americans reg.this as I hardly take a bus here ,but as long as I can say from my memories when I was a tourist here ...nobody does that . I really liked that over there both Welsh & English passengers were doing it !! 👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

@@KianHorwood Yeah 177 was new to Caerphilly in late 2014 early 2015 I think I only drove it twice and I booked it off twice 🤣🤣🤣. The doors used to play up and either wouldnt open or wouldnt close and she would cut out alot

Well, its short all right but I don't see anything nice about it. Looks heavy, balky and obstructive. the trouble with a very short throw is that its not always clear if the next ratio has been engaged or not, as is all too clearly demonstrated here.
She sounds beautiful. Ive experienced this vehicle twice now and still makes me smile with envy. I haven't told anyone about it yet. One goregous bus
Definitely. Mr. Sampson is a little Bias though as it was a driver training Vehicle with Midland Red West when he was doing his training and then the bus group he was part of in Worcester purchased the vehicle from Midland Red West. My father was also in said bus group

This is a different way than usual. I was expecting from Cwmbran, to Sebastopol, through Griffithstown and into Pontypool.
