on the fly jack plate would get extra mph With that 2.5 u could make one out of wood and see what she’ll do ? I use a 5 hp on a 12’ and a 7.5 on another 12
No, I have one it’s a great machine but don’t go full throttle to long because you will run out of gas. I ran out of gas in the middle of the lake and has to paddle back. As long as your not full throttle for more then an hour you good 😊
Too many decimals outboards have, Mercury 3.3 and 3.5, Honda 2.3, hangman 3.5 and 3.6, Briggs and Stratton 6, 6.25, 6.5, 6.6, 6.75, and 7, why do outboard companies have to make it like that? Is yamaha gonna make a new 4.65.741hp outboard now?
Sound like a freight train 🚂
Can't understand a word.

You are not up on plane at all doing like 4-5mph
Dang I wish I had that thing I would be hauling
How does it do in the weeds?? Thinking of getting one for duck boat
Looking at this or the 5 HP Honda for my 9 ft dingy.
Same, i have a 10 foot and honestly think a 2.3 would be plenty. Its like 3x thrust of my battery power.
Seems to be hauling ass for a 2.3
Follow the link above
6 mph pretty good
😢why doesn’t my 2.3 go that fast
This makes me feel better getting a 5HP for my 14ft boat I think it’ll move it fine
Struggling smh
Damn, that's plenty! It's loud but who cares. Any issues with the clutch? I hear it's the weak point.

@@jordan9531 how long do you need to take to break it ?
Just got one. It should push my 17 ft Grumman canoe just fine.
Yes make sure your engine height is good to waterline. If you’re making a turn, it could chose cavitation.
Nothing like being on the water; planed out!
Ta que nem minha máquina de lavar!

Some lakes could only allow 2.3
