hi just wanted to when the port is open for fishing and do you need fishing license. I go fish once a year if I am lucky and the port is around the corner from me

I'm not finding the information online. Are you not allowed to fish at the port from the walls at all outside of the days they specify?

We use to fish the long wall by the helicopter launch area. That long wall is where the kingklip, hake, big cob, really decent gurnards, big hotties and other species was caught. The depth atthe end of the wall is insanely deep. They must try and have 1 of the future events on that wall. It will be epic

Don't talk nonsense! The ISPS Code has got absolutely nothing to do with fisherman. This code was implemented after the 9/11 explosion in America, it is ment to keep terrorists out of our Harbours and definitely not fisherman! These cases was already challenged legaly in East Londen and Durban. The Ports Regulator has already presided upon Durbans case and have ruled that fisherman are in fact Ports Users as defined by the National Ports Act including its subordinate laws and Marintime laws. For confirmation, go to the website of the Ports Regulator and draw the case between Abraham Joshuf & 3 others.
