Why would you even compare the two? One is state of the art digital and the other is an old film tank. Nothing wrong with film. I shoot film, always have. I have the hasselblad and i have an older 503cxi i love and use the digital back on it. And yes. Us stidio photograpers use it all the time eith with or without auto focus. I perfer manual focus regardless of what camera im using.

Twice, I have considered buying a medium format Hasselblad. The first time was when I was shopping for a medium format wedding camera to replace the camera supplied to me by the studio where I worked. Instead of the Hasselblad, I purchased Mamiya TLR cameras with 55/80/180mm lenses. The second time was when it was time to replace my three worn out wedding cameras (C3, C22, and C220 Mamiya TLR cameras). I replaced them with two Mamiya RB67 SLR bodies with 50/90/180mm lenses instead of Hasselblads with comparable lenses.

Yeah, I got the X-S20 because it was $400 less...I not like the twisty tilt screen much at all, gets in the way of left hand and strap, also the EVF is same as T-30. I think going to sell it and get the T5 (I did have a T3 once). I also want the 40meg sensor

Thanks for the vid! 2 quick questions: 1. Is it possible to orientate the QR plate (exactly like the one you have on the bottom of the cage) in the same plane as the camera lense? I.e. turn it 90 degrees, so that it's long side is facing the lens, to mount it on a tripod in a usual way? 2. Also, is it possible to add one more QR plate on e.g. right side (screw it onto the cage with 1/4 screw)? Please let me know!

And the beginning I thought buying the a1, but then I thought, this camera is for rich people or really professional people like National geographic and similar.
