not only was this a thorough and well explained video, the reason I am here is bc I've moved into a house with the EXACT kitchen layout you used in the example 😅 Unfortunately the previous builders chose to go with curved shelve ( similar to the lazy susan but without any rotation option) so I'm pretty stuffed when it comes to storage space 😭😭😭 Nevertheless this video has provide me with helpful information that I can arm myself with when dealing with cabinet makers in the future! Tyring to install Ubuntu with btrfs file system on my 250GB took me about 4 days to format it and only 30% of the drive had been formated, then I just lost my temper and quited the process. I can't comprehend what happened. Then I decided to try again with ext4, but for goodness known reason it started formating the drive where the previous btrfs installation had been quited. That just killed me and I stopped my attempts.

I thought BTRFS was some kind of police force and they were raiding a cult or something I was so confused when I opened the video and it was a Virtualbox window.

Strangely, it never occurred to me that this part could be printed, although it makes a lot of of sense. I want to build a printer out of PET bottle filament (at least as much of it as possible) and so I'll definitely be saving this part. Thanks!

Thanks for this. I’ve taken the pan off a few times. Never realised there’s (or should be) a clip at the front, so always struggle to hold it up with one hand while doing the bolts. I’ve actually been known to swear while doing it! Next time I’ll see what’s up with the clip.

It was a little flimsier than I expected. I had to add a 2x2 piece of wood to the bottom on the rear side in order to stabilize it better czcams.com/users/postUgkxXTh-lz-8W6GcB219vTLp27-MxbZYObBX . It is also starting to bow a little at the outer wall ( I've had it up for about 6 months), I've already had a shelf tumble down because of the bow and the fact that the little shelf brackets are quite short. I went out to home depot and got some longer ones so that the shelves don't tumble down again. Overall, it looks very nice for the price and it holds a lot ( I use it as a pantry). I am very satisfied with my purchase. I just strongly suggest reinforcing it before putting it up.

They are great until the motor in the head goes wrong and you need to replace the complete motor with a new one. These are not cheap to buy new and replacement parts are expensive.

After three years of operation, vibration appeared, beats off the hand, it is simply not possible to work. I was forced to change the motor. Before I got this model, I used 2-stroke for 4 years, and 4-stroke for 7 years !!!! no problem !!!! Now I think they will go back to 4-stroke !

I'm now wondering - and hear me out 😆- about a _lift-up corner section of worktop_ concealing roll-out metal basket shelving on a (pneumatic?) sprung hinge system that lifts shelving for full access (a little bit like a sofabed). The lowest shelf housing things accessed less often so it doesn't always need to be lifted to full height. Pick out what you need and close the 'lid' again. Make it easy access by only storing large appliances on that part of the worktop on a tray - like a breadmaker so you can still use the countertop freely. But I'm neither an engineer, nor a kitchen designer... 😉

The reason the metal ones did not work is because you installed them incorrectly, the metal ones are basically a spring and can expand and contract ether from rotational force or pulling / pushing force, and so if you have a pretty fast Z moment it can cause the flexible part to expand and contract and this is more noticeable if you use z hop and so for these metal couplers to work the lead screw needs to be supported / fixed at the top mount both on top and under the mount so to stop the leed screw moving up or down but still being free to rotate, you get lead screw clamps spacers and bearings for this purpose

I use blender for 3d designing for print and not rendering. Does anyone know how to optimize cpu and gpu usage for tasks like merge by distance and decimating geometry and those types of calculation intensive tasks. I don't even need to worry about colored parts let alone photorealism. Just great advanced geometry. It doesn't look like it even uses the gpu when it calculates. I have a 3060 gpu but it doesn't seem to even be used for geometry tasks like limited dissolves or remeshes.

Filesystem should have "expanded" space used, meaning space used when all hardlinks are unfolded. If this approaches total partition size, fs can run into this situation, where it has no space to expand. Reminds me of dollar bubble too.

You're spreading misinformation. That's not how copy on write works, it will not materialize the full copy if you check some blocks from it, it doesn't matter if you change the end of the files.

Thank's for your video. It does not work because most of windows programs need a driver for serial ports and it will workaround virtual ports in Wine. May be the old version works but not the new ones. We have exactly the same problem with laserGRBL.

Working on my kitchen design. I have two dead corners which are pain for both, my wife and myself. I agree that's best solution for corner cabinet.

Almost every btrfs disaster I've heard of is the filesystem becoming too full. Stay below 80%, and you'll be fine. Enjoy the luxuries that btrfs brings.

You spend 3 minutes lauding the flatness of your prints without giving details on how you achieved this. I'm thinking you generally feel underapreciated. What a waste of the viewer's time.

Wow that's horrible and thanks for the video. A filesystem that doesn't recommend fsck! Who would have thought. To think I was thinking to use it for my system gives me a shudder. I'm not touching this buggy fs with a 50 feet pole (that is, for another 20-30 years).
