What was reset at the 25th Harari Cultural and Sports event in Toronto, the momentum in Harar continued. It appears that Harar has set a higher momentum for harmony and development. Building on this momentum and contributing to Harar’s continuity is an absolute necessity and a must to uphold! It is a momentum of a high degree of cohesion, alignment, harmony, and autonomy. A momentum that resets a common vision, goals, clear roles, and responsibilities with open arms to revive, harmonize, develop, and practice Harar’s values. All in all, such community scenes, events, and occasions show our level of integrity and unity. It is high time to use the momentum to reinstate Harari institutions and revive Harari’s collective actualizations; working on institutional actualizations such as Afochas and Mugads at all levels. Insha’Allah, regardless of our places of residence and surroundings, keeping Harar’s customary qualities will ensure the continuity of Harar's values, virtues, and building institutions for years to come! May Allah Bless us all!

Masha Allah, watching the cultural music festival organized and performed by all ages, girls and boys is very impressive. Harar is alive. I am equally impressed and elated to see elderly women’s incredible performances and enriching experiences. The event not only showcased their immense talent and passion for music but also highlighted the rich cultural heritage and messages they carry with them. The diverse range of performances of traditional folk songs was a testament to their dedication and love for their craft and Harar. Their vibrant energy and enthusiasm were contagious, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and nostalgia. This festival beautifully demonstrated how music transcends age, serving as a powerful reminder of the timeless nature of art and the invaluable contributions of our elders to preserving cultural traditions and the Harari language. May Allah give them a healthy and longer life. May Allah give us the wisdom to inherit this beautiful and peaceful Harari heritage!
