Sydney 2000 and Barcelona 1992 were the best Olympics ever after 2000 it all went to shit. Im so glad so happy so blessed i was alive to watch Roy and HG take the piss out of all these wannabe athletes. Classic, classic comedy and comedians. "Hello Boys" and "Battered Sav"....absolute gems! I watched every one of their shows each night during the Olympics and bought the DVD set several years later. Thank God we have such clever people as Roy and HG. :D

Roy and HG were the best part of the olympics. I was just a kid but I remember at the end of each exciting day of competition I used to stay up late with my folks laughing to these legends
I was 13 during the Sydney Olympics. My family were living in a two storey house at the time and both the upstairs and the downstairs had a television. When my mother thought she had sent us to bedroom upstairs what she didn’t know initially was that I was sneakily turning on the tv upstairs to watch The Dream with the volume down so low that she couldn’t hear it. One night she came upstairs to check on us and I got caught. So she made a deal with me that if I went to bed as I was supposed to that she would record The Dream for me and I could watch it the next day. So that’s exactly what would happen. She would record the episode each night, I would watch it the following day and then it would be recorded over the next night for the newest episode. For my Christmas or birthday present that year I was given the VHS pack of the highlights of The Dream with Roy and HG.

It's a fucking joke when you think about it. It's like playing soccer/football where you have 12 players or less ad other countries get to have 40 on the field lol
