I show on the video step by step how you can make your own begleri from the cord you have on hand. Choose a cord that feels good to your hands.
The length of the cord will depend on the diameter of the ball and the diameter of the cord, as well as the stiffness of the cord (soft cord will be needed less, as it takes up more area of the ball when flattened).

It’s actually really simple if u know how to make the monkey fist u jus add a string through it and tie a knot
