Do man made walls actually stop huge waves like a sea wall?
You are the first person on here I'm seeing use those big walls instead of just stacking the smaller ones. It looks nice. Also, the log cabin in the background with the stone ground floor... that looks amazing.

can you just use raised earth for piers- is the wood really needed?
I just made this but I added roof. The longest time I took is to raise the ground. I couldn't get the last bit right. It kept slopinh down. Sigh. But thanks for this design!
I can't get the damn dock pipers anyplace close to even height when I build in water it drives me crazy seeing them all different heights hahaha
That stone wall clipping through wooden floor is pissing me off every time I am trying to combine these 2 blocks.

Pretty nice dock there bro. Working on an old style "shanty town" dock district for my city myself atm. With everything from a proper longship wharf to trading and crafting and all that.

Hey! Thank you for this comment, I’m doing okay, I’ve been really busy with work and haven’t really been gaming at all in the last 6 months. Covid has made work very busy and it’s hard for me to fit in the time needed to create consistent videos. I’ll come back at some stage when things cool down if you would like to stick around as I never took the growth the channel had for granted and I was really enjoying it. I haven’t played the game in 7 months and it’s had a good few updates since then, a building one included so it would be nice and refreshing to get back into it!

Anyone else having trouble getting the chimney to draw properly? The smoke doesn't seem to make it all the way to the top, it just pours out the openings at the bottom instead. PS - Love the build! It fits in nicely with my other stuff. Also building in survival, and I get jealous every time you start to fly. :)

Beautiful dock/port. Are you able to maneuver your ships once you are inside those walls okay? Looks like a tight squeeze but couldn't tell for sure. Love the music too.
Yeah you can move the small ones on the left but the bigger ones have to just sail straight in and stop haha
