Still got this LP i bought as a 9 Year old in a Vinyl 2nd Hand Store.

I saw this Band open for Journey in Milwaukee and I was very impressed! Went out and got the album. Still have it! So glad to finally see something on CZcams!

I remember pulling this record out of record box in a huge cutout warehouse. I thought what the hell with that cover. Then saw it was on a US major label. A good pick-up for just a dollar in brand new condition.

Haha thats a great story Brigette. This is actually a Saracen album, saw them at the Raffles hotel first time in june 1980 and my life was changed forever .Brilliant band , the best rock/metal band to come out of W.A. Rock ln Peace.

I saw Trilogy many a time and Ashley Cook was the drummer then.. I think around 1983ish? Ash & John would come to my place for a hair cut as hairdressers in those days couldn't be trusted not to cut all their hair off!

Actually this band was called Saracen in Australia but due to their being a Euro band with the same name, the album was released under the name Trilogy in Europe. Trilogy was Jon Ryder's previous band and the line-up you've listed above is for Trilogy not Saracen. Saracen was also a 3 piece, with Ryder on Vocals/Bass/Keys, but John Meyer was on guitar/backing vocals, and Pete Thompson on drums/backing vocals. www.ausmetalguide.com/Saracen

I still have three excellent copies of this album. I love it so much that I had to get a 4th additional copy, because I knew my turntable would play the grooves off at least one of the albums I owned. A fantastic album, an amazing group that should have made it big! Virtuosity!
