The point about chainshot timing is extra important. Can't tell you how many times I have gotten into fights with an overly aggressive ship and they start the broad exchange with chainshots only to then get pelted because they don't realize just because we cant move that doesn't mean we cant shoot.

On an unrelated note. If you are on a brig or galleon or even as a duo sloop. Please dont be a board lord and just keep jumping or cannoning out after every trip back from the ferry. Especially if your ship has damage. I have lost many fights because my idiot crewmates just keep jumping instead of helping me repair. Or helping to guard ladders.

Yeah I’m the only one that spends time learning about the game (like watching videos and looking stuff up). If I’m not on the helm, we don’t turn and will hit something. My friends cannon (miss their shots) and try to board (die instantly). They’ve recently learned to bucket and repair sometimes

Btw there are actually 5 tiers of holes. It would be appreciated if this was corrected in future videos. Which is problematic given that a level 3 and 4 are visually identical

At 9:50 I would’ve told my duo to play water and decide to either rep the right side or rep mast to get moving again, with duo in water he can deny wheel and cannon for a short time which is enough to get moving but at this point wheel should be tripped and so you have even more time if you slow down after the initial full drop

Don't buy the Game. It is designed to bring out the worst in people, and it does this in many ways. The Devs yap about community and making memories and stories, when they know that this games community is one of the most toxic in gaming. They don't even play the Game themselves, don't let them lie to you. If they did they would be in a state of rage at how broken and garbage it feels right now. And the 'Community' is just a bunch of midwit phycho narcissists that will report you for the slightest offense to protect their useless wasted filthy ego. And the even more trash Community mods, who are a bunch of woke garbage, who also don't play the game will blindly perma ban you even after 4k hours and a couple thousand dollars spent. (Yes to buy every real money cosmetic is a couple thousand dollars.) These Devs have no respect for the players time. The Company doesn't respect the playerbase as a whole. And you/your account is just trash to be deleted at the wims of braindead woke Clowns and Jokers. The Art team just recolor existing cosmetics, and the colors they choose are garbage, and offten you're left with articles of clothes/pieces of shipsets that don't even match the set. The harpoons are broken. The sharks spawn is broken. The skelly ships are broken, and don't repair damage. The dive system is broken. Loot persistance is broken. Servers can't handle too much loot in the water. Loot spawns are broken for Veils, and a couple of the phantom Forts in game. The hourglass gamemode is broken in so many ways it's a whole paragraph on it's own. You shoot gun, gun doesn't do dmg. even though on your screen you hit the target. Hit reg is and will always be an issue, and these Clown show Devs are doubling the amount of weps in the game without any fix to the core issues. The Meta will be far more trash than it already is once all these midwit half assed changes/items/tools enter into the Game. Hit reg will always be an issue due to the fact that Rare's greedy cheap Clowns run the game on servers that were not even meant for gaming. There are MANY more issues that could be addressed. Most issues could be fixed but the Devs are too busy patting each other on the back for wasting time/money on monkey isle garbage. And for giving the merchant NPC at Gallions Grave a Sex change. And the story is all over the place, with who ever is writing it now seemingly being about 5 years old. If you're new good luck even trying to get a grasp on the lore. The Game at one point had a lot of potential, I loved it, even when it was broken. But over time the Devs have become lazy demoralized and shamefull. I offten found myself wondering if they just had interns codeing or something. The Games potential will never be discovered, for many reasons but one of them is the refusal to drop support for a 12 year old console.
