Sadly not, you could connect to the app on the phone but it wouldn’t know to use the AcePro camera and would just default to the phone. As we can do remote viewing of the AP on our phones I could see it being possible for insta360 to make it work. But not possible atm

You can rotate it to look the other way by using the trigger on the Flow. It’s the same as it would if you had a mobile phone on it too. You can also switch from landscape to portrait.

Yup there is, so the Flow has this cool inbuilt mini tripod but if you leave it pushed in, you can use any 1/4 mount with it. I tried it with a PGYTech Mantis pod which worked Ok. But you probably would want something more ridged if that makes sense.

Amazon or Ebay is your friend with this. The GoPro cage came from Amazon and the weights are just generic 'gimbal weights' which you can buy in sets or individually. Hope that helps :)

Sadly I was unable to do this, only solution is to just get some extra batteries and keep to hand.

@@jakestechtravels4864 Yeah, but how did you connect the fan to the GPIO? Did you buy jumper connectors to attach to the cables or did noctua provide the cable with GPIO connections?

@@funkymonk4688 ah I see, I used 2 old female jumper connector ends and soldered it to the provided cable. I had to modify it slightly but works great.

Hey there, so you can remove the 52mm filter (or add your own) but the actual mounting for this is machine pressed onto the cage body itself so you cant remove it totally. Hope that helps.

MDMinecart the best thing to do is check out the math. Weigh the Sony body + lens + batteries + any cage or accessories and check the total isn’t higher than the SC max payload size. I would try but I only have the sigma 16 1.4 and a couple other small lenses which wouldn’t be the same as your setup. But it’s all about the max payload weight that the motors can handle. Michał Pirjanowicz sadly not. But you could mount your phone on the side of the gimbal with the supplied phone holder and use the GoPro app 😏 a workaround but should get you what you need. I did try with the usb C cable but not luck

I got them from amazon, very cheap although I would recommend getting a few sizes possibly. 50 / 100 / 150 are useful plus I had a couple smaller 25g ones. That way you have enough to balance out most things :)

Absolutely you can! :) the ronin SC can support up to 4.4 pounds or 1.99 kgs which is enough for a decent body / lens. You can mount microphones / screens to the ronin handle so it does not count towards the payload.

The only thing is your camera may not work with the record button.... that is it.. but my sony a6000 does not work with the record button either so not an issue.
