Not really into GraviTrax but I'm pretty sure the GraviTrax Starter Set Pro would be a better bang for the buck. Think the starter set contains the same, if not more vertical pieces than the vertical expansion, as well as the normal elements you would expect for a starter set and some bernoulli rails exclusive to GraviTrax Pro sets.

I swear, this set NEEDS MORE POPULARITY! I saw this on Brainy Baby Left Brain, and I've been curious over it for a very long time.

I think this marble run is most famous for being the one featured in the four marble runs by the Huang Twins/jacknjellify (of _Battle for Dream Island_ fame). I think they're some of the most important of their genre--it's crazy the impact they have on the Internet as a whole.

I think the true original is Toto Toys Marbulous, since every marble run piece from the Galt set has the Toto Toys logo. Other marble run brands that I know have pieces with the Toto Toys logo include Marble Genius, Mindware, Kumon etc., of which I treat as being original as well.

I baught just an expansion set from ebay as I already have masses of Duplo boards and blocks but actually it doesn't work well, the ball moves too slowly and stops constantly, I can't seem to build big runs with enough drops to keep the speed up. I think probably the issue is there are no turns that also drop, I think these add a lot of speed to the ball. It's not as easy to play with as I thought it would be, though my toddler loves it still she just pushes the ball around the run
