I filmed the Northern Lights in Northern California with analog night vision. Using L3 filmless white phosphor, thin filmed green phosphor and green phosphor Photonis tubes. But it was my modified SiOnyx Aurora Pro that captured the best images using an ENVIS objective lens.

Minimalist pouches for DJI Mini 4 Pro

I just got the DJI Mini 4 Pro and wanted some pouches to carry the controller and drone in my backpack. I want them to be as minimal as possible for a cruise I will be going on this summer. I found the Helikon Tex Admin pouch a perfect fit for the RC2 smart controller. I’m using a red Paladin33 Russian Doll Medium pouch for the Mini 4 Pro drone.
AR9 SD and CMMG Buffer SlowMo Comparison

I test a direct blow back 9mm with a Maxim Defense roller delayed buffer. I’m using a ported barrel by Broad River Tactical and my B&T MP5 SD suppressor. I compare that to Broad River Tactical’s new CMMG Radial Delayed compatible SD barrel. Then I change the buffers in the CMMG SD. Second half of the video is testing a 16” CMMG with different buffers to see how much recoil and bolt speed there is.

It's a beast of a Drone, the Mavic 3t has similar thermal sensor. In your thermal cloak videos you did last year, what was the "off the shelf" material that performed as well/better than the Relv/Beez?

Depends on the mags. Also the barrel is too short. Makes your Aug under 26” so you need to pin and weld a muzzle device. Or SBR your AUG.

Looks very promising. Any ETA for final release? I like that it is aluminum and not plastic. Seems like an efficient design all around. I am glad that you are testing and providing feedback so that SRU gets input on building for real firearms and the USA market. Since .22 suppressors are typically just over one inch in diameter the extended rail is actually nice to have for use with a suppressor (or just add a flash can).
No eta yet. I tested their AR Bullpup prototype last January and now have an early production sample. So maybe 6 months? However the AR Bullpup is simpler. This needs so changes so the receiver is steadier. Right now there is a lot of movement with the barrel. Tucked suppressor would be nice but not everyone can have those.

Initial attempts to load have failed. 40SW new rounds just won't load. Takes an enormous amount of pressure to even clear the rounds after failing to load. 40SW seem tight in this thing. I will keep trying and will use lube as suggested. We will see.

You eyes merge the two middle images. So you see a 3 bean pod.

Hi! i got linked by Carpe nocturnum to you, i just got a 162mm f/1.7 Objective Lens for the NightQuest to attach to the aurora but it doesnt have a c mount how did you attached it
There are two styles that I am aware of. One is c-mount. The other is female threads and fits PVS-15/18 objective side of the housing.

Only way to use it is to get a housing that uses PVS-15 style objectives. I think Nocturn makes a Tanto that uses PVS-15 objectives

@@ID-9999it is the distance my camera is to the eyepiece. When the lenses are closer to the camera or the eye, that line goes away.
