My name is Melanie and welcome to my kitchen! I was raised in the kitchen by a French trained chef and have always loved to play and experiment with recipes and techniques. My goal with this channel is to share my love for cooking, experiment to develop new skills and recipes, and have fun! I watched this twice, because it looked wonderful. But, it never showed the ingredients. Got several replies that said that it did. So, watched it again... There they are! I must be losing my mind 😳. Please forgive me and I subscribed.

I made congee. It is a type of rice porridge.

@@Jesuslovesyou8525 It was surprisingly delicious! :) The congee is a nice neutral base so it was perfect having such flavorful toppings.

One tip If you don’t know already your heat might’ve been to high while cooking causing to egg to cook

Compared to most of the other cooking shorts I see that's usually just paired with mostly fake stories or family guy takes.. this was refreshing practice makes perfect! I'd eat them no matter how they look tbh

Looking for the bread recipe
Um….so you made stuffing with chicken, tots and cheese? If you wanted it to be breakfast, could’ve thrown in sausage/bacon instead of chicken. Skipped the potatoes since you’re already using bread. Used broccoli or spinach to add some nutrients/color. And put chunks of cheese throughout it and a layer ontop. :)

My family always called it a birds nest but we put purs between 2 pieces of bread with cheese to make a less messy egg sandwhich for the kids
If I bite into a crepe and it's stuffed with egg instead of sugar that will kill my entire lineage I'm fighting everything in a 20ft radius

Looks good! What kind of popcorn did you use? Is it plain or buttered or kettle?
I like light buttered popcorn the best in this recipe. It balances well with the sweet white chocolate.

wow what a delicious recipe i was searching for carrot jam but it annoyed me on sugar
It really surprised me how good this recipe was! I cut out some of the sugar from the recipe I found, but there really is so much sugar in it! Thanks for watching!

@@pakeezafay111 I had to look up jaggery since it isn't an ingredient I've seen before. I think it would be a great substitute for sugar in any of my recipes! I'll see if I can find it where I am to start using it in my recipes! :) Thanks for the tip!!
@@melanieskitchen thanks a lot and i guess dates are also an awesome substitute as i saw one or two recipes of dates carrot jam on youtube and there are diabetic patients as well as ppl who do not want to use sugar at all and i do try recipes most often from all experts there and will try this and give you feedback with some positive changes in the recipes and m greatful to Almighty Allah that we have such a lovely bouquet of food experts like you to teach us difficult recipes easily at our home to serve our family with lovely food 💐😇 i would love to see u on instagram as well ;)

The orange one is a Sweet Potato, the white fleshed one is a Yam. They're not related, & neither is related to potatoes!
Thanks! I noticed a big difference in texture when I was preparing them, but didn't know the white were actually yams. :)
