Hi and welcome to our channel. We are Andrew & Barbara, a bonkers middle aged couple with a zest for life and all that it has to offer. We have known each other for over 40 years and the power of Facebook reunited us nearly 11 years ago and since that day we have never been apart. Our channel was born back in August 2018, mainly just for fun and to showcase our silly holiday antics for friends and family. Lets face it, its far better to watch a video than staring at photographs, right?. When covid 19 landed on our doorsteps we took the decision to purchase a Mercedes Sprinter panel van and convert it into our tiny little holiday home on wheels . We wanted to share our experiences on this project and also future trips, holidays etc so we hope you enjoy watching our videos. Really great video and very helpful, and suscribed 😊. Found your channel via the VWE vloggers section as im also looking at up plating and will be in contact with Dee. Interesting to hear that you uplated direct from panel van as i thought body type had to be motor caravan, this will certainly speed up my process if thats the case. Have you experienced any issues in europe since you up plated
@andycosway1840 Hi Andy. Thanks for the nice comment and subscribing. The up plating process is just a paperwork exercise and Dee does it all..Took about 2 weeks Had no issues with driving in France and Spain although we did have the " Angles Mortes" signs on due to it being a HGV but never got stopped. You will save on your road tax too being a private HGV. Any problems, get in touch. A&B.xx

If you are travelling on Uk plates ANPR cameras pick them up... Andorra do not like van travellers...as it appears it's a commercial vehicle...Spain generally do not accept camping or overnight stops except on registered sites...Failure to comply may gift you a knock on your window in the early hours...France is more welcoming..try there...as a Spanish citizen...Spain...we like you to acknowledge our rules and abide by them...not bring with you your entitlement. Thank you

Hi both, how long are you driving between stops?
Hi. On average probably around 150 miles. I do have the actual figures if you want them. You need to be around the place you want to stay around 3 or 4 ish. That's what we worked on. We can help if you want. Thanks for watching too.A&B.x
