Humans created corn from the wild teosinte grass which had 2 inch long ears with only about 20 kernels only good for popping. Thousands of years of selective breeding by humans created the first corn. GMO corn is only a continuation of the human efforts to make better crops. Some day GMO science will be obsolete when we find even better ways to improve our crops.

*Lie number two in the video* starts at 1:40 where you are told that GMOs "don't stay put where they are planted" which is false!! Pollen does not drift far so only a 25 foot buffer is required between GMO and organic crops to retain organic certification.

*Lie number three* in the video starts at 1:50 where they are trying to claim that modern crop science increases the chances of resistant superbugs or superweeds. THIS IS A LIE!!! Farmers have been struggling with pest resistance for as long as they have been using pesticides. They learned that crop rotation and rotation of the chosen pesticides used foils the ability of weeds and bugs to grow resistant to them. Smart practices like this continues when using GMO crops. Farmers choose a different kind of seed or pesticide each year to prevent pest resistance.
